  1. DL burners are so cheap now, go get one.
  2. they are DL, and can be copied.
  3. Do they update the software of the nav unit as well with these updated disks?
  4. I tried that too no luck. I did see a power saving feature and I turned it off thinking it is turning of the BT on the phone, will see how that works. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks, but when i go to the register section, there are no phones in there, is this what your talking about? Its weird when I register my phone I see it there, but after a few a while it is gone and I have to start over.
  6. I am having a problem with the V3M to auto connect with the BT Unit. When I register it it will auto connect, but if I let the car sit over night, the V3M is not detected. Do I have a faulty BT Unit? Thanks
  7. I dont want to be lazy, but everything is perfectly in place at this point, and I didnt want to rip everything apart. So I guess you dont know the color wire? If not I will have to rerun the wire.
  8. I am trying to find the reverse wire in the driver kick panel. I thought I traced it down to a red/black wire and it worked, but only when the car it turned to BAT, if I start the car it does not work. Do you know which wire in the kick it its, I just dont feel like pulling everything apart and running the wire to the glove. Thanks so much.
  9. Do you have pics of your install? Where did you get your jag dash kit? thanks
  10. Closing the session is closing part of the disk that you wrote data to, and then you can continue to add data at a later time. This will usually work computer to computer but will not be able to be read by the Nav unit. Closing the CD is finalizing the CD so it can not be written to at all, and can be read by any reader. So look for the option to finalize the CD. In Roxio use Easy CD Creator and add the picutures you want and write the disk, it should finalize it for you. Remember I have a D3, im not sure if you need the picture folder for the D2 or not. But I am sure you wi
  11. I did not use the DIY, i used the method in the manual. You can use a CD or DVD, but the data on the CD must be a min on 1.8MB and on the DVD 280mb, so I would use the CD. So take a blank CD create a Pictures folder, put all pictures into it and burn and make sure the total data is greater than 1.8mb. Make sure the CD is closed or finalized and you should be good. Use Roxio or Nero or any burning software, dont use the winxp built in burning capability since it will only close the session not the whole CD. Let me know how you make out.
  12. make sure you close the entire disk in the software after writing and make sure you create a folder called PICTURES, also the the total file size fo the CD must be 1.8mb or more.
  13. This is correct, you can tap off of the blue fuse (15amp) on the drive side last fuse towards the bottom, it is for the wipers. I have a 07 and this is how I did it. Good Luck.
  14. Any clue what color the reverse wire is. Thanks
  15. Thanks, but I dont think there is a auto mode on the D3 for the dimming.
