Impressive... most impressive... What version of Sygic do you have? and can you share it? I've stuck at working menu and map screen not refreshing at all.  I use V12.1 for WinCE

Pioneerus is not working with 850/950/F50/Z150 model. There is no third party navigation software for SH4 CPU - used in *50 models.

Anyway to put a X850BT in test mode? Pulled it out and installed a 5ch amp and now its asking for the password. The guy im doing this for can't remeber the password.

Is it software for Windows CE? and it should at least work on ARM CPUs.

 

I have a local map, tried boot it up via pioneerus.

I edited pioneerus.cfg by notepad to designate a folder to where the local nav program was.

I have failed tho.

I've tried to run Sygic on my X930BT, got stack at activation screen. Activation code it gave me is:  XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX instead of normal letter/decimal code. Any ideas how to get correct code?

Add: Now I can see Device ID code but Sygic doesn't want to sell activation code to private person for automotive in-dash navigator.

Really, nobody can help me out by walking out to their car and seeing if the buttons dim with the dimmer switch?

Illumination wire as logical ON/OFF thing. So no ajustable dimming possible. My advice- put switch on illumination wire and control it manually.

Not working on Avic-X850BT get an error that state cannot enter test mode

yes. get previous update, put on sd card with testmode.key (normal one) and select force update platform and navigation. Good luck!

I got the license and installed in in the Pioneerus directory on the Unit.

Pioneerus directory should be on SD card

Then I copied IGO 8 files into the Pioneerus folder including the license and maps.

IGO.exe should be renamed to alien-navi.exe

Still nothing comes up when  I press the next track key that is supose to bring up the menu for Pioneerus.  nothing shows up.

You need to press "HOME" then "Destination" icon on the screen then Next track or center of volume knob (for 920-930-940). Then you should see grey screen with message button, press button and it should start alternative software. if it is not happen - ask developer again.

If you've replaced PRG0 and PRG1 you need reinstall Pioneerus (keep license file - it works).

Than you'll need working copy of IGO or other navi software that works under Win CE5. Copy it's contain to the Pioneerus folder on your SD card. then Rename igo.exe to alien-navi.exe. Make sure you have your pioneer.lic file in this folder as well.

Here is my test drive with Pioneerus+IGO8.3

Because Pioneer doesn't sell a NZ SD card.

Than your option is to get Rioneerus and use IGO in it.

Ok. Now Igo 8.3 works! But it happen at price of lost satellites in official navigation. may be something can be fixed futher?

I've got Betta from developers.

I've done more than 10 drives with this hack.

All functions of original software preserved.

and:

1. (+) Virtual GPS port at COM7 /57600 works well. I've got from 5 to 9 satellites reading fine.

2. (+) 2 navigation programs works ("7ways" and "Navitel") and few are not working: IGO8.3 IGO Primo, mobilenavigator, etc...

3. (+) Official navigation continue to work on background.

4. (+) sound from Alternative navigation mixed normal way and can be adjusted at Settings>Volume>Navigation Volume.

5. (+/-) to switch to alternative navigation you need to press- Home>Destination>centre of Volume knob, or Home>Destination>next track.

6. (-) Press of HOME button takes you to official navigation.

6. (-) at alternative navigation screen- popup windows like "Vol. #" and Bluetooth windows work not like popup windows but like monopoly windows. So it is black screen with just popup screen on it.

NB: it is not compatible with other mods, especially Condihack

Yes. Navigation software works in "demo mode", as it clearly stated in this video, - unit sits on this guy's desk.

But:

1. Unit runs alternative software and switch to shell and back.

2. He has sound from alternative Navigation.

Also he claims that he got modyfied portspliter that output readable GPS protocol.

Here is a video of X930BT running "7ways" free software instead official navigation. As autor claims he got all functionality of original software, so he can make and recieve calls, listen different sources of music along with alternative navigation software

Release is not ready yet. But hope it will be out soon.

unfortunately - NO.

Yes, now it is possible to change maps and region. (but not for DVD!) you need NDATA folder backup from Australian unit and USER folder from your unit.
