It's the future? Currently, it's nothing but a set back. The new all digital connector currently does less than the old 30 pin connector. How is that progress? Why would you upgrade to a phone to lose features? For us, this really sucks because now you can't get ipod or video out. As you said, it takes a lot of features away from our headunits and not only ours but any other vehicle that utilizes ipod out. For those that don't know, ipod out is the what allows you to control your music on your ipod/iphone from your headunit and have it display the audio data. The bigger scre

It's not dead. At least I didn't kill it. I have a torrent created for anyone that wants to files just PM me. Only one person has actually said they wanted the files so they can attempt to crack it.

That's my assumption as well. On the other hand, if you have a 4S you get just about everything from the software upgrade that the 5 will have. I'm on iOS 6 now and minus the bigger screen, I'm pretty sure I have every other "new" feature. If you are on a 4S, the upgrade isn't worth it.

I did my upgrade last week. While the maps still aren't perfect, they are a little better. The advanced app radio that I was so excited about didn't turn out to be much. The thing I don't like is that it still doesn't start the application on the iphone. You have to pick up the phone and start the app yourself. I haven't had time to test out the voice control since I don't use it and don't have it set up.

The sd card doesn't come until tomorrow. I don't use voice-control but i'll check it out for you tomorrow night.

Thanks for the offers guys. Let me just clear something up. I'm not offering the cracked version as I have no clue how to crack it. I'm buying the SD card from navteq for $120 bucks so I can upgrade my unit. I'm willing to upload the files on that SD card to whoever can crack it so the rest of the community can upgrade as well.

I used an alpine unit before I got the 130bt and it had navteq. The maps were great. I would've kept it if it produced the same sound as pioneer did. Plus the advanced app mode looks pretty good.

Hello people. First off, I just want to say thanks to guys who created this site and to everyone who has contributed information, background images, upgrade files, etc that i've been using since I got the Z1 back in 2007. I upgraded my Z1 to Z2 and then to Z3 with the help from you guys. I then purchased a 110 on it's release day and upgraded it to the 120 using this site as well. I bought the 130 for the traffic and app mode. I've been waiting for this update to come out ever since the announcement of the 140 and I saw that they were using Navteq instead of teleatlas for the map datab

Hello people. I have a 130bt and I have the bypass set up. I recently tried to play some video from my iPhone but I only get a black screen. I still have control of the navi and video while in app mode but I can't play video when going through the head unit. The only change that I did was upgrade to iOS 5.1.1. Unfortunately I can't go back to the old version. Anyone else having a problem playing video directly from the unit? Thanks in advance for any help provided. Edit: Not sure what happened but I just drove to the corner store and now it's playing videos again.
