Hi garrett i dowloaded the 2012 zip and i also downloaded the 125 and the 132 rar files but the 125 and the 132 won't allow me to unzip them do you know where i can get these files in working order thank you.

Hi everyone thanks for the hard work and always giving out the best info on all avic units. i have a z1 converted to z3 i dowloaded the 2012 maps and i also dowloaded the Part 125 & 132 files. these are in a rar form but iam not able to open them with unrar. is there some where else i can get these files or is there another rar software that i could use to un zip these thank you

Hi i have a z1 with the latest upgrade i installed it on a bmw e39 2000 and i didn't connect the pink wire or the purple wire. i know that the pink wire is for the speed pulse i don't know what the purple wire is for or where to connect it but the radio seems to be working fine with the navigation. it's calibrating and it reconizes the roads. my questions is do i still have to connect it to the vss wire on my car or is it possible that it's not necesarry to connect it. thank you

Hi everyone i have been reading that there is a upgrade for the z2 BT upgrade the thread said only for Z2. i was wondering if there is a BT upgrade for the Z1 and if some one can point me in the right dirrection thank you. i already upgraded my Z1 to the Z3 upgrade and have done the 2wire bypass.

Hay vblue thanks for the info but what could be the problem like i said fm Am radio work great Dvd and library dont have any sound?

Hi everyone i just install my z1 haven't upgrade yet to z3 and maps that's coming soon but i have a problem i can only hear sound from the radio and not the DvD or the library. the Dvd plays the movie but with no sound and the library no sound either.. also i notice that from the power supply harnes on back of the z1 i have two cables that are not connected to my factory harness they are a pink cable and a light violet cable with a white stripe maybe i need to connect one of these for sound?

Hi everyone i just got a z1 and iam doing the bypass it's april 06 and i just needed to know if i can connect the light green wire with the yellow wire (cellular mute ) which i used to do the bypass and connect them to the black ground wire or do i have to ground these wires to the chassis on the car thank you.

Hi i have a z1 installed with the bypass works great. i got a double din radio as a gift don't know the brand but its not a pioneer and i would like to know if the bypass aplies to every double din unit that has navigation included thank you
