I dont think Pioneer has anything ready for the avics with HDTV support. The other thread about HDTV in avics was referring to a modified over the air D/A box that you can easily find and install yourself.

There is no update on the Z1's and there will not be one for quite some time. Duc's chip works great and if it don't... then most likelly it's an install problem and nothing else. Please do us all a favor and stop spreading rumors about new versions or updates. Find a better installer or try to install it yourself and it will work.

It has to be in the db for info. You can also add your own info when you make a cdr.

Nice work buddy. I"m still waiting to see pix from a Rav4 install. The new 06 Rav4 has a weird dashboard and I'm not sure I'll fit it right. If anyone has installed one or has seen one install please lemme know what kit the used if possible. It's a shame when the unit is sitting in a box and I cant use it :(

these are pretty cool.. Maybe we should start a section where we can keep a collection of all backgrounds and different files we can use for the Z1.. Admin, mods? Just a thought.

Have you tried videos in .avi format divx or xvid endoded? I would like to know if the Z1 can playback those.
