  1. you have to ground the parking brake cable in order to be able to access those settings
  2. well apparently i was wrong haha. learn something new every day. other then apple screwing everyone over
  3. hey guys. not sure if its been discused here. but the reason the video wont work is cause the iphone 5 used digital video out as opposed to the older iphones use RGB. the audio and other functions use the USB so those will work fine. this info was from a friend who works for pioneer.
  4. Hey Ryar got Primo and Primo3 to work from the SD card . Unit seems much faster to load. but now is there a way to get the iGo maps to go on the SD card also. yep, theyve been working for a while now. just did what Ryar said to do.
  5. Hey Ryar so i gave that a try and no go. i put APL2 on the SD card (note that APL4 with garmin is on there also) with the iGo, Primo and Primo 3 folder in them with the edited SYS files (removed what was below folders). i also tried to leave only the run folder of Primo3 on the deck and the full folder on the SD card, (like Garmin is set up) and no go with that one either. only thing i didnt try yet is putting Primo3 and Primo on the root of the SD card. that is my next try. a lot of back and forth to the car haha. had to redo the whole my flash disk at one point cause somethin
  6. Hey people. so here is my question. i deleted the US maps off the unit. i put them on the SD card like i did with the Garmin maps do i have to change the whole directory to SD in the SYS files or can i point somewhere that only the maps are in the SD card in the SYS files?
  7. ive used kingston (4Gig, 2Gig), patriot (8Gig, 16Gig) and sandisk (4Gig, 8Gig) for it and i have the F900Bt never had an issue with neither of them. i have tons of SD cards. i have the testmode files on my usb key on my keys and i just use the first SD card i find. i think something is wrong with your files perhaps?
  8. Booooo. dislike what version is in the files? or how do i find out if its the latest version?
  9. just tested this with my 700bt and it works fine. i know it doesnt help you much but i figured id try it out. on a completly diff topic. has anyone tried a newer garmin UI? the one currently used is an older UI from garmin. the newest UI with Ecoroute. since our systems have BT i was wondering if wed be able to get this working. http://gbr.garmin.com/ecoroute-hd/ my gf has one for her car and its pretty kool actually. if someone points me to how to get the UI i would be willing to try it out to see if it would work
  10. Made the shortcut and it now works, had some issues with it not being correct but it now works. now to get the maps to load Also. just to let ppl know. i used a cheap non powered usb hub and was able to have my ipod and the OBDII reader working at the same time. next ill try adding a usb key with some maps loaded onto it and see if that will work also.
  11. not sure where the iGo save folder is located. i cant seem to find it anywhere. the only thing i deleted from the avic2.1 download was the maps and poi's for the USA. as for the Garmin thats what i though. the folder is still there though. but since i seem to be missing all the extras then itll probably show up when i fix that issue. Edit: just found the Save folder for iGo and it is still in there. i will go look on the unit in the car in a bit to confirm. second edit: so for some reason the files in that folder didnt copy over. got it working now. Thanks Ryar. you are awesom
  12. So i loaded the 2.1 files with my stock maps. iGo maps work great, i can go into the Primo maps but since i dont have the maps its just an arrow. audio part works great but i have a few issues. 1)when i go into applications and stuff i see nothing, no HOBD. 2)i dont see the part where i can go into the Garmin UI
  13. the ebrake one was just an example. pioneer had a way around that. if your GPS is moving then you cant play anything. so ppl did a firmware fix for it. explain how youre going ot be able to do that now?
