  1. I had trouble with one of the screws in my tray too and found a pair of needle nose vice grips worked really well. There was just enough screw head sticking up that they could get a grip on it and remove it. And I also highly recommend Garret and the drives he provides.
  2. I didn't even take the dash panel all the way off... I dropped the gear selector into first and tilted the steering wheel all the way. Then disconnected the 2 connectors on the left of the steering wheel (just headlights and interior light controls on my truck) and then lifted the dash over the steering wheel and rested it partially on the steering column. It would give you more room to work if you disconnect all of the switches and pull the dash cover out of the truck but I didn't feel it was worth disconnecting all the other cables.   4. I just found the Kenwood KTC-WB100 weather band tuner for Kenwood HUs. Is there anything like that for the Z1? It would be extrememly nice while camping. I really like that it is integrated with the HU as opposed to a standalone unit... Thanks.
