When you say the crack which crack do you mean?

Did you get the update yet? I had a look on the Car Audio Direct web site but they don't list any Pioneer updates I didn't realise they could get them for you.

Completely agree, they are totally useless and very expensive. I do usually use Car Audio Direct its just that Pioneer was adamant that Halfords had which of course they don't.

I contacted Pioneer and they were adamant that Halfords or any other major dealer stocked it but clearly that isn't the case yet.

Hi all, Is there any way to update an AVIC-F920BT with the 2011 CNSD-210FM update without paying for the update? I have a UK model and I cannot find a legitimate update anywhere and I was wondering if there was a clever hack I could use to update my head unit. I really want the Appmode feature. Thanks

Please forgive my ignorance but what can you do with the hackmode? I have an AVIC-F920BT does this let you install the CNSD-210FM Update or have I got the wrong end of the stick? Thanks

Hi, I got my F920BT the other day and it had v02.0000 software on it so I went to the Pioneer website and downloaded the 02.0030 update put it on a micro SD card put it in my HU and it went through the motions it rebooted fine I checked the software version and it still says V02.0000 and it just ignores the SD card when I put it in to try and reflash it. Does any one have any ideas what I may have done wrong? Thanks

Hello all, I hope I have posted this in the right place. I have just purchased a Pioneer AVIC-F920BT, this is my first Pioneer multimedia head unit, I have defected from the Alpine camp. I live in the UK and I am looking into what my unit is capable of but I am a little confused by all the software and model version floating around. What is the latest firmware and map version for a European F920BT? And are all the software hacks mentioned on this site available for my model of head unit or any F series model?
