The investment in a Clean Sweep is probably equal to a complete system update. In my mind the, Clean Sweep would be good in situations where the stock radio unit has interfaces with other components in the auto. For example, The Hybrids use the NAV screen to show volatages and ampers to each electric motor, the percentage of use, and battery condition. I dont think this logic info can not be intergrated into a new NAV head unit, I might be wrong, but not aware of it. Other examples, some auto manufactors are intergrating climate control into the nerve center, which just happens to be the cars

Just to add a few 2-cents to the Cleansweeep, i had the oppurtunityy to check my neighbors Cleansweep install in his new Honda Accord. He installed Polks spearkers and subwooofers and retained the factory radio/nav. I was truly impressed, the sound quality and bass and eq adjustmens was as best i've seen in several thousands $$$ systems...

since you upgraded to the Z3, i dont think you need the circuit board any longer. I think all you need to do is the two wire ground.

Only if Sirus agrees to give up 26 channels for non-proffit and public affars stuff. Sirus is bulking at this condition. I have a Speed Channel frend that works in programing production and word he is hearing, Sirus wants to add about 50+ channells of mobile video via MP4 delievery. I think Sirus needs all the bandwidth they can get to pull this off. Can you imagine taking a six hour trip to visit in-laws and able to watch the Nascar race on your trip... WOW,, I would subscribe to that in a heart beat.

I just did a google search on the CD-BTB200. This apears to be a new Bluetooth Module release. I can't figure out why pioneer denied the existence of a new upgrade. I spoke to them by phone last friday 6/13..BASTARDS!!!!!

I would'nt buy any Pioneer products from New Egg. They are not an authorized Pioneer Dealer and Pionner will not honor the factory warantty. However, New Egg will lie to you unitl they turn blue that they are an authrozed Pionner re-seller. NOT!!!!!!!!

you dont even have a one year warranty, they are not on Pionners authrozied dealer list. Pionner wont authorize factory repair unless you pruchase from an authrozed dealer. Many dealers including New Egg will lie until they are blue in the face telling you they are authorized dealers. New Egg tried to tell me this crap, and they still told me they were after Pionner contacted them regarding my complaint. Dont trust anyone. Most of these retail shops are lieing theifs.

O.K. So what are you going to link into your D3? Are you just going to dwn load to it? Seems like a lot of trouble to me.

not sure if there is. I sure dont have the patience to wait for somthing Pioneer knows nothing about, so ordered the BT1.

I just got off the phone with Pioneer Customer Support asking when this rumored 'new BT Module' would be out. They have not knowledge of such new BT module. So, if you were like me, holding off, it dosent look like anything soon.

Not sure of steps required for the Z3 Bypass. Do I have to do as i did with Z2 1. CD update install 2. Two wire ground or with Z3 do I only need to do this? 2. Two wire ground If the CD update install is requred, will that outdate any software the Z3 has installed? Thanks

Hey thanks for getthing this pullued off. I ordered mine last night for my Honda. I ordered a Z3 last week for my wifes Accura and now she wants this one in her car. Hell I'll do that, but i think the Z3 actually should go in the Accura While on this Z3 subject, do i have to do the upload for bypass or just the two wire thing?

The Bypas is a few easy steps and you will get everthing you want in a GPS. Remember that all, including new cars, have safety features in their units to limit use during vehicle operation for a reason, so when you defeat those features, the liability monkey is on your back not the manufacture. When you defeat the system, use comon sense and remember others on the road are holding your line.

I stpped in Pacific Audio in Sacramento today. One of the sales guys tells me that Pionner is comming out with a new Bluetooth module to and he claims it will work on the Z3 and other models. I asked him what's new about it, after all, bluetooth is bluetooth, no bells and whistels about it. He didnt know what the new model is all about other then one is coming. Any of you guys have the word on the new one? What in the world could another BT module offer that we arent getting now?????

And---- BB is not an authorized Pioneer reseller so you shafted on your factory waranty as well....
