I would have to update AppEx for that to work. The mirroring currently ignores supported apps. I'll see what I can do.

If you are jailbroken and using AppEx, I may be able to make it mirror if you turn on Pandora in the unsupported app list. It depends on how the app reacts to the EU firmware. Otherwise, there is nothing you can do. Pandora is basically built into the head unit so it's hard to control.

Possibly. Can you post a screenshot of the dialog? I had to delete the app and then install it again as well. AppEx shouldn't need a reinstall, but you do need to run the latest beta for it to work. I don't see much of a difference in the new version of the AppRadio app. I think it was just a change to the way new apps are displayed in the recommended apps screen.

Confirmed in the app update released today.

No Hold to return is possible, assuming you don't need the press and hold action in the unsupported app. If the app was full screen, would you cut off the sides or the top and bottom? The aspect ratio of the iPhone screen doesn't match the ratio of the head unit so part of the screen will be missing.

I would love to have the clock in a bunch of apps, but coding for each one specifically (location, color, etc) would be difficult. I'll have to think of something. That's a demo of the Mimics hardware mod. Not AppEx. What do you mean by exits the app? Does it close back to the home screen? or switch to the AppRadio app but not show on the head unit? I'll look into the slowness on the iPhone 4. It's been a problem for a while now, I just haven't be able to get it fixed yet.

Yep. Just posted beta 11. Looking for some feedback to see if it fixed the issue or not. That's how it's supposed to work (auto rotate isn't functioning properly on iOS 6 yet). As long as you launch one unsupported app from the menu, you can press the home button and use any other app. Still working on it.

I would need access to the Pioneer API. ARLiberator works by displaying the screen over HDMI and receiving touch controls via bluetooth. Everything is sent to the iPhone over the 30/Lightning connector, so reverse engineering it would be a bit more difficult. I'll start working on this once the Pioneer API for iOS gets leaked. Until then, we are stuck hijacking an existing application.
