  1. Anyone else have issues with bluetooth after the upgrade? My phone doesn't stay connected anymore. I'm at bluetooth version 3.24, wondering if I can downgrade?
  2. I've done that a couple times now, and yes, that'll get it to work if I re-pair it every time, but I shouldn't have to do that. It should just recognize my phone and work whenever I get in the car like it did previously.
  3. Hm, OK. Basically, every time I get in the car, my bluetooth connects and then maybe 2 minutes later as I'm driving it disconnects. If I got in and manually connect again, it'll say it's connected but Pandora and Aha won't work. Had no connection issues like this with the previous version. Is it possible to revert back?
  4. Yeah, ran the firmware update first. Once that completed, went in and ran the Bluetooth upgrade. Everything completed successfully as far as I could tell.
  5. Anyone had issues with Bluetooth after completing this upgrade? My phone has issues staying connected to the Bluetooth, which worked fine before I ran the upgrade. Is there something I'm missing here?
  6. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of using the voice commands. I've got a lot of oddly named artists on my iPod that make it very difficult for the unit to understand which one I'm talking about. Link Album is pretty close, it starts playing the album the current song is from. I just wish the default behavior for the unit was, if you click on the current artists name, it would take you to a list of all albums by that artist. Oh well, maybe someone will hack it so you can change that. Thanks guys.
  7. Normally, if I'm using my iPod and a song comes up and I want to list the other Albums by said song's artist, I can long press the 'enter' button and it'll allow me to browse the current artists's albums. Is there a way to do this via the AVIC-Z120bt's interface? For example, say I'm playing all the songs on my iPod in shuffle mode and a song comes up by The Smashing Pumpkins. Is there a way to go directly to The Smashing Pumpkins' albums without going to all artists, then scrolling all the way though to the S's, then scrolling all the way to The Smashing Pumpkins?
  8. I did this over the weekend. It definitely sounds like you've got a loose wiring connection somewhere. To make sure all my connections were solid, I used a butt connector to connect the ground from the harness connected to my headunit to the ground from the harness connected to the car's wiring harness. I then used two scotch locks, one for the parking brake wire and one for the mute wire, to splice into the ground wire. Make sure all of these connections are solid. The only other thing to look at is the pin where you moved the mute wire over. Make sure it's securely inserted into the ha
