I had mine installed at CarToys. They initailly didn't hook up the illumination wire at all. I took it back and they wanted to charge me $50 to hook it up. They said it was because of the way GM did the light control through the brain. After an hour of arguing they said they would hook it up. It now works with the headlight switch turned on but not when the automatic headlights come on. I can hear the relay clicking when the headlight switch is turned on. So I'm going to listen to the clicking and find the relay... and then hopefully find the right wire to connect it properly. I

I'm registered with the Church of the Universal Matrix. It's an internet thing; but it's legal in Colorado and probably most of the US. I don't know what ULC is. I'm guessing the same thing?

As for the not-for-profit status being needed to run a raffle... I'm technically a Reverand. I could start a church. The Church of the Z2. From lurking around (being a Guest at) this site for a couple of weeks I could easily argue that there is some "Z2 worship" going on. Then we'd be not-for-profit. Maybe even direct a little of the proceeds to the people who keep this board running. I'm all in for the raffle. I don't care as much about having the Z2 as I do about having a by-pass when (if) I upgrade the software of my Z1 to that of the Z2. (If it does come out as an upgrade.

I grew up in Dallas and I find that a lot of voice recognition systems don't pick up what I'm trying to say. I think I still have the Texas Drawl sometimes.

Is this a common problem? I mean the installer not hooking up the illumination wire? I seem to have the same problem. I plan to take it back to CarToys tomorrow and ask them to hook it back up but for some reason I expect pushback.
