  2. I just ordered my ProClip for my EOS VW... Love it I have been searching forums and google and I came to the conclusion that it was the only solution without putting a sucker on my windshield or digging holes in the dashboard. I have chosen the "Padded Holder with Tilt Swivel and Pass-Through Connector for Cable Attachment" so that I don't have to touch the cable when installing the iPhone. 2 minute installation !
  3. In France, we have the chance to have a direct line of discussion with Pioneer France throughout Facebook. They are launching games, infos and are listening to our ideas to improve the appliance
  4. I have been testing NavFree and being used to TomTom, I must admint that NavFree is really an aweful experience. I really need Tomtom and Spotify
  5. I have an EOS 2007... and the previous autoradio (RCD 500) the one had a very good reception... I could listen to my favorite radio in my parking... Do you have an idea of what kind of stuff I need to add to make it work ? (brand, name) Thanks,
  6. Technically, every device that has internet through another device connected to internet is doing tethering. That is the definition of Tethering (Edit) I think PJH is right ! It is not the case for the AppRadio that is just a view on what running on the iPhone
  7. Hi, I want to know if anyone have met the same problem... When installing the AppRadio, I have a weak radio signal compared to the one I had on the previous autoradio (the one from VW). Thanks for your feedback, it will help me understand if I did something wrong in the installation. Jerome
  8. Hi, The application "NavFree" has received approval from Apple. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150314413659336 2 other new apps will be released before the end of october....
  9. The 2 new Pioneer apps are waiting for the Apple approval... They will be launched as soon as Apple accept...
  10. Apps featuring in the AppRadio app (to be launched from the iPhone) Contact Agenda Photo Goggle Maps INRIX MOTIONX PANDORA RDIO NavFree Apps to be launched from the iPhone directlty and that show on the screen iCoyote (Sound is working on the background if another app is on the screen) Youtube Apps that don't show on the screen Spotify (the cool thing about this app is that it plays on the background and allow another app to show). For example, in the morning, I have the music from Spotify playing with the sound notification from iCoyote and the display of INRIX. App
  11. Hi, In France, we have the chance to have a direct line of discussion with Pioneer throughout the AppRadio facebook page and they announced a GPS navigation app and a music app to be released in october. Now when it comes to bugs, I have not received any comment from Pioneer corp but I know they put effort in this. I also know they are working on another product with more functions but that will be like the AppRadio
  12. Also I suggest that you change the subject title by :"Advice on buying the AppRadio or not"... It makes more sense and avoid the fuzzy subject
  13. The AppRadio is definitly cheap for all the features that it brings to you BUT it has also lots of bugs (Minor ones from my point of view) So if you are a little bit of a tech guy, go for the AppRadio knowing that there will be problems, bugs but a great product with lots of functions. (and lots to come this october) If you are not techie, go for another product.
