has there been any progress on this? i was looking into the same, getting a us z130bt but putting australia maps onto it. fengtianrui, have you had any more issues apart from gps with the american unit in oz?

Sup people. Sorry for the mega long post but hey... I am looking at purchasing a Z130BT. However... I have a question regarding firmware between the AVIC Z130BT and the AVIC F30BT (Australia UK version) http://www.pioneer.com.au/au/products/25/111/241/AVIC-F30BT/index.html this f30bt retails for quiet a bit more here, which is BS in my opinion. I undersand that there are different region codes and US radio frequencies. Possibly other regional differences i am unaware of... Any one have any to share? Are there siginificant differences between the UK and Australian region sy
