ah i will search more threw the complaints now to read on what it is hopeing my bad reading skills still alow me but are the complaints about takeing to wrong placess takeing longer directions or just different routs be requested or adresses missing less POI's then they thouhgt ? also has anyone who has the unit mentioned if it shows speed limites on roads you drive ?

Ok so wondering for those who have the 940 and also had the 930 do you enjoy the new navtec maps better do you really notice a big difference ? also did they add any feature like road Speed limits or anything like that or no

just checked out best buy to see if they where chargin the same prices or if the 940 went up looks like its the same price as the 930 was but the catch is also they have not even discounted the 930 i wonder if they really think they will sell there 930s at the same price as the 940s lol

I am thinking of putting my 930 up on eaby for sale or on CL for sale and going to buy a 940 are the RCA and Power Harness the same or did they change at all ? do i have to pull all the wireing out and rewire with new or can i simply just unplug the 930 hu and plug the 940 into it without having to redo the bypass ? thanks anyone know this yet

i mentioned something about this some time back and it does suck i wish they would change this for the 940 also hmm has the 940 come out yet i don't even know will go check and see if its been released yet or not but maybe someone with a 940 if it has been realeased or when it is realeased will let us know if its the same way

finaly got it working again today called Pioneer first they said check the SD card make sure it was not full don't understand what that would have done but still checked it it was fine formated with a new Fat 32 still didn't work reset factory settings still didn't work checked VSS wire not only did it not fix the problem but i must have knocked it loose because now it wouldn't even keep track of where i was moving so then took the dash pad off the dash again got under the cluster to the wire fixed that got it working again still would not keep track of fuel distance driven under f

went to fuel up totday and still nothing not working to keep my miles driven sicne last fill up i check to make sure that the 3d section that keeps info and tell you your current speed and other things was also keeping track of miles and that was working fine i exported again tried again to reset did not work i then reset the unit from the settings but when i reset it it only reset the factory options it did not reset or erased anything int he navi part like history or favorits is this normal for that to happen ? im wondering if i did not do a reset properly and is there anothe

i know i was trying to use cordinates once because the adress was not being located and the cordinats would not pull up iethere was disapointed cause it was the adress to a gas station that uses non ethonal fuels for street use lol

ok cool thanks i hope that Nav teq uses speed limits also it would be nice to see the speed limit of the road you are on guess i just wonder why the heck my 99 and 119 garmine has road speed limits but my 1000 dollars In dash doesn't lol

ahh see for me i did not know they realeased updates for the software firmaware on the unit itself to bring it to the new current year i thought the only updates they did where if there was a problem with compatibility and they needed to fix something they would then do a update for it didn't know that they actualy put out update to conver like say the 920 to a 930 software or that they will give software updates to bring our 930 to a 940 didn't know this cool to know

thanks for the link i wish they went by county and not just city i see the to big areas right above me and right below me have it for west palm beach and miami but nothing in boca or where i drive most darn sucks has anyone that usees this noticed at all if they ever update and add new citys if so how often or has it been the same since they started it ? thanks

yeah i have mentioned it in different threads yesterdya but only in reasponding to those becasue i know not evyerone reads and responds everwhere so i figured better luck with posting it its not like i started a new thread to ask it several times lol the other thing was will it be the same maps we have now or if it would be the new map nav teq also i asked different not the same questions in each one

I think i read somewhere that Pioneer purposly does not reasleas map updates for the current year untill the end of that year if you want the current maps then you have to buy a new HU when the new model comes out like the 2012 maps will be here with the 940 units but the 2012 map update for the 930s wont be realeased untill closer to the end of the year wich kind of sucks they do it hoping thaty ou will just go throw away 1000 dollars on a new unit not likely

do you know perhaps when the update for the x930bt will come out and will it make it comparable with same features as the 940 or in order to get the extra benefits of the 940 do we have to actualy buy the 940 ?

is there a datbase on what cities the traffice tuner gets life updates for anywhere ? i am thinking of spending the 100 bucks on the tuner but only if its gong to be worth it for the cities i travel in most seems like there 60 or 80 cities that get the updates out of how many big cities the unite states has kind of would suck

i wonder if the nav teq map will really be much of a difference also wonder if nav teq will have speed limites posted i really love my 930 but i just don't understand how my mom and dad's 4inch garmine can give the speed limites and trafic camera info that only cost 99.00 dollars and our 900 dollar units don't its amazing i also wonder if the new map updates that probably won't be out for the 930s untill the end of the year witch kind of sucks from wha ti think i have read is that pioneer does not reasleas map updates untill like October for that same year if you want it erly t

wouldn't you be able to change the firmware or software to the same as what the 940 will use once its realeased ? if there is not update for the 930? i am hoping the pioneer does not leave us in the dust without any updates but from what i have read over the past it seems that sometimes they just forget about the year old models and only work on the new ones to get you to buy the newer unit each year wich kind of sucks

Ok so when ever i go to use my iphone to play audio via BT for the ipod feature once i turn the ipod on and turns the Volum on the iphone all the way down it does not do this when im only using it for phone it only turns the volume all the way down on the device ipod iphone iteself when i synch for Music anyone els having this issue i seemed to remember there was a issue like this going on once before anyone figure out what it is ?

i did the export and then entered the info now i just have to wait untill its time to fill up again wich will be tomorrow and then ill know if its actualy been tracking my Miles driven

thanks i thought i tried that already but i will try again and see if that helps i just am confused why it would stop working i really am trying to avoid having to reset the entire unit to facotry just to find out
