hmm.. not sure if i want the D3 anymore. I really wanted 2 things, one is a split screen and other is to play my hundreds of music videos by just clicking on the video i want like playing a mp3...oh well.. the search continues thanks for the information...

I am looking into getting a D3 and was wondering if the D3 has a split screen. I would like to be able to view a movie or my rear view camera on one side of the screen and still see the navigation on the other side? Is this possible because I know the D1 has this capability. Thanks in advance...

so will you be able to see a list of the videos on your playlist and skip to whatever video you want to watch by clicking on the D3 screen to play that video or will you only be able to click NEXT to play the next video on the playlist?

ok.. i am little slow today even after WHTCRXGHST great explanation. Here is my question. I have tons of music videos on ipod, will i be able to select a different video through the D3 touch screen or will i have to use the IPOD everytime to change music videos? I don't mind hitting play on the IPOD once at the beggining to get it going but if i have to use the IPOD everytime to change music videos, that will be annoying. Thanks in advance...
