  1. Yeah it has to be on FAT32. It does not need any mods or hacks. Simply extract the map files onto your SD card and extract the corresponding cardinfo.sif file onto the root of your SD card.
  2. All you have to do is unzip the files and put them in the root of your SD card, then place the CARDINFO.cif from here CARDINFO.zip into your SD card.
  3. You sure can! Just follow the instructions for the X940BT on the main post.
  4. Try using a download manager or downloader extension for your browser.
  5. You would need something like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Farenheit-LP-2CSC-Chrome-License-Plate-Backup-Camera-w-Parking-Sensors-/360896138642?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5407160d92&vxp=mtr This is exactly what I have connected to my unit. It is a camera that has the parking sensors built into it. It comes with a seperate module with a speaker that notifies you of your distance and beeps when you are too close.
  6. No the x950bh uses different hardware and software.
  7. Yes that should work but why would you want the 2012 maps when you can just install these 2013 maps?
  8. No the AVIC-X710B uses compltly different hardware and software.
  9. Alright if you have a Z140BT, Try using CARDINFO.cif this and post back if it works or not. CARDINFO.zip
  10. Its out for the X series for free! Check out http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/38472-2013-usacan-maps-download/
  11. Its out for the X series too! Check out http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/38472-2013-usacan-maps-download/
  12. For all of you who are having problems with the Z140BT, it seems as though the problem is with the CARDINFO.cif not being compatible with the head unit. I'll keep you posted if I make any progress. But since I do not have a Z140BT, it might take a while.
  13. Thanks for the update! I've updated the original post!
  14. You should follow the instructions for Z110BT since that is your hardware model number. So use: Instructions for Z110BT, Z120BT, and X920BT units.
  15. Does your head unit recognize an SD card at all? Does it read photos or music from it?
