  1. Plays music well and charges the iPhone G3 flawlessly. No complaints here.
  2. CableJive works well. Scosche Passport does not work to charge G3.
  3. I just received the CableJive Charge Converter. To my great delight it charges my iPhone 3G.
  4. This is a common problem with AVIC Z units. The radio signal on you phone interfered with the satellite receiver. This is a problem that Pioneer needs to address. You will notice that any time you make a call that is not brief your signal will be off for as long as 10 minutes.
  5. Installing a Z series unit in a Civic not that difficult if you have some mechanical and electrical abilities. I installed a Z2 in my 2007 Civic. I bought the Double Din dash kit from a Honda dealer on-line. Crutchfield has the adapter kits. For more information go to http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/.
  6. I have a AVIC-Z2 installed in a 2007 Honda Civic. Since installing this unit last year I have the problem with the satellite signal dropping when I am using my cell phone. I have the satellite antenna installed under the dash where the factory antenna goes. My phone is mounted on the dash close to the screen. Does anyone know of a way to amplify the antenna signal or shield it. I did install the adhesive metal plate that came with the unit.
  7. Thank you for the information. I know this may sound dumb, at the "parking brake switch" are you referring to the wire coming off the parking brake lever? I was hoping not to have to take the entire center console out to make this connection.
  8. I installed a Pioneer AVIC-Z2 in my 2007 EX Sedan. I get a screen that says "Dectected improper connection of Parking Brake" All posts I could find said it was the "Green Wire" in the center console. There is a large wire bundle in the center console with many green wires. One is dark green, one is medium green and one is light green. I connected the parking brake wire from the HU to the light green wire. Please help! If you could post a picture of the correct wire that would be very helpful.
