  1. Well, if anyone else should need this info here it is. VSS is on the PCM drivers side fire wall pin # 68 gray with black stripe wire. Parking lights for dimmer is in the passenger side harness running along the floor under the kick plate. It is solid brown. Also the reverse light wire is in the same spot it is black with a pink stripe. And you do not need the 5v voltage regulator. There is no popping with it wired straight.

  3. I am getting ready to install a D3 in a 2003 Lincoln Town Car. Does anybody know were to find the VSS wire. Also is the dimmer wire in the harness or do I need to find it somewhere else? And last it has the optional Alpine system, will I get any popping at start up, do I need a 5v regulator for the amp signal or is it OK as is. Thanks for any help.

    D3 & BTB200 ?

    I've been lurking for a while here but have not posted much. You all have a great site here, the info is terrific. I have a D3 and a BTB200 bluetooth adapter and I have a question. I searched and didn't see were anyone has brought this up which surprises me because I noticed it right away but maybe I didn't search hard enough, anyways here's my question. When you place a phone call by pressing the direct button on the screen and then putting in the phone # manually as soon as you press the call button (green phone) the numbers disappear so if you call a number where you need to enter in an ext
