  1. I work with alot of solvents at work. Acetone evaporates too fast to do any damage. I've used it on my phone to clean some spray paint (got spray paint on my fingers than used my phone) off my keys. It did not do any damage. Right, but keep in mind that your cell phone is probably made of a different plastic than the D3. If it's something you want to try, I won't stop you, but for safety sake, try it on a small corner first and see if it dissolves the plastic on the D3.
  2. I wouldn't use acetone, that stuff really likes to dissolve a fair amount of plastics.
  3. This has just become sad. It was funny at first, but then you just keep coming back. What are you gaining from this? Your posts accomplish nothing. It's clear that you are a very immature person simply by reading your posts. I sure hope that you don't act this way towards people face to face, because you'd probably not get much done with your life. So, how about you relax a bit, and get over yourself.
  4. Hey Alex, I'd say sure, but I'm in Bozeman, MT and a 10 hr drive might be a bit far I can understand the discomfort for doing it. However, I installed my D3 in my 2004 toyota tacoma just fine with the bypass. I guess it depends on how much experience you've had taking apart and working on cars/wiring. If you've done things like that before, they you'll have no issue. If not, hopefully there's a member around here that would be willing to help.
  5. Ok, for those that have done this with a success, how about listing exactly what you did. I've got photoshop, so I'm no noob here However, my first attempt left the photo way to large and it did not fit in the screen. My next attempt left the photos way to small. I tired the 1000 x 480 px at 96 dpi and it resulted in photos way to small.
  6. Hahahaha, I'm just laughing my ass off here!!! PaisanNYC, please get a picture of him, I have to see what this douche looks like.
  7. Great, thanks for the info.
  8. I gave the forum a search, sorry if this has come up. Anyways, I just installed my D3 last night and made a DVD-MP3 disk this morning. I set it to random, but what I noticed was that it only selects a random track if the song goes to completion. However, it will not go to a random song if I don't choose to listen to that certain song and hit "next" I read through the manual and it gives a couple sentences on the random function. So, is this just how the D3 is? It's not a big deal, but when you have 600+ tracks on a DVD and it's set to random, there'll be times when you don't want t
  9. Yup, you're definitely this guy: Hahaha Ok, I'm done here, I've had my laugh for the day.
  10. Hahaha, NitroB, for being such a good sport, I'll buy you a beer, assuming you're old enough. And I hate to break your heart, but I'm not gay.
  11. I'm sorry, I HAD to join for this thread alone. My d3 is getting here on monday, thanks for all the info that you guys have posted. Moving on, NitroB, thank YOU for making me realize how stupid people really can be. I have not laughed this hard for a long time! My guess is you're either 16 years old, or you're this guy:
