  1. I'm sure this has been covered, but I couldn't find anything re: Z2... only Z1 What's the deal with the guy selling "AVIC-Z2 Bypass" for $2.99 on Ebay? Has anyone paid for this? I assume it doesn't work or people would be talking a lot more abou tit on here... waiting for the eBay confirmation then I'll buy it to see what he's got, but I'm sure it's BS.
  2. FM is by far the closest match to CD quality. The problem is the reception. Sat radio fills a void in the coverage, but really does nothing to address quality. The fact is bandwidth is the the issue. FM uses no bandwidth so it doesn't matter how much data is being sent, its just about how much the radio station wants to pay for the signal to reach a broader audience. The good news is (and maybe a bit disconcerning for those fearing the end of sat radio) WiMax is rolling out in cities everywhere and bandwidth is going to become a lot more accessible by everyone and in much higher volume. 3. just wondering if everyone having issues has their phones charging in the car or just chillin'? I just installed my Z2 and had issues until i started using the car charger. it may be an issue of your phones strength/bluetooth capabilities not the head unit too...? I have a UTStarcom PPC6700 and it works great now that it has extra juice.
  4. I had a similar issue. People were complaining I sounded far away & in a tunnel. I later found out the quality went way up when i plugged my phone into the car charger. No one complains at all. If you're already plugged in and still have issues, i'd get a new mic.
