Im assuming your using either the 01 or 02 variant since it only has one set of pre outs... if your into bass use the pre outs for the sub if ur into all roubd goid sound use the pre outs for the rears and use a line in covert for ur sub -
yea dont think you should have anything to worry about if ur using app extensions. what ur seeing is some just using display out. While when in app mode your screen will be over ran by pioneers logo. Best thing to do is go to best buy and hook ur iphone up to it and see

Hey mike was able to finally use ur app on a appradio da-100 and it works amazingly!! My wife has been asking about a b day gift and I showed her how awesome it worked and she was even impressed! Was wondering since I was able to get the whole iPhone screen to pop up on accident if you were able to create something that would allow full control with out going throug apps?

this one is gonna be tough to prove man... even with the old system phone calls sounded some what normal from the demo i saw, with it just using the phone speaker mic. The best thing to do is trust, its hard now a days with a lot of internet nonsense going on! But from what i see i really like alot, It seems like from what it was almost 2 months ago its gone leaps and bounds past the old units. Hopefully by the time it gets ready for prime time aka next month they have all bugs worked out. I hope they get non landscape apps to flip like they ve been talking about so spotify will work awesome!

yea i can feel you with that. But i think they tweaked the software on the this thing and just re wrote the code to a module that is plug and play. As you can see everything on the app radio works like it's supposed to but once its switched to apps it goes into its own mode, which makes me believe they are using the serial data bus to send the touch signals. So if thats true bluetooth will work fine. Also i contacted the customgadz guys that make mimics and asked them about a full built unit they referred me to these guys and said this would be the best route. So for the makers of the mimics m

the old mimics system used to use bt to send the signals. Think they went around this with this cause if you look at the description on you tube it says u can fully use bt now...

From what I've been reading about mimics is you can but it won't go through the external mic since mimics uses the bt... But the mic for the app radio will fit in the headset jack... Think it's the 3.5 mm jack.. What I'm surprise is pioneer did use the 30 pin connector for the phone voice and mic sound quality is a million times better with it

Nicely done! i was wondering if you guys were gonna try to use the app radios home button with this, looks clean. one question any problems when activating supported apps with them wanting to jam up?

think you need to use ifile download file from link and follow instructions on first page and you should be good to go. Think mike was saying he didnt want to add to cydia just yet due to its still in beta and wants to get it all worked out first. 100x better than most developers on the app store that just throw things in there that are crap.

yea and i keep hearing august 1 august 1! why promote a product thats wasnt supposed to come out for 4 months. Then when you have people that are/were obviously interested in buying one these would you stop posting updates and pictures and videos of this this?! Seems like they pissed off prob one the best markets on the web to promote this thing.

it all boils down to how good cell service is in ur area, if its good i would go with the app and same some money. if you live in an area were you constantly go in and out of 3g i would get the external unit. Also here's a lil trick on how to get xm for 20 bucks for 6 months or 30 for a year call up there cancellations department and tell them you want to sign up and what discounts are they currently running?

from what i understand mike was waiting to see if these guys cracked the code on this but when he realized it was the mimics module. He cracked the code 4 hours later completely impressive! Instead of these guys saying "hey everyone the appradio uses a 4 wire touch panel. the mimics module works perfect in here.... and here's the instructions on how to do it" and all they would of had to do is add a donate button and im sure people would have donated some cash....

Yea mikes good shit.. These guys won't even post a picture of what this thing even looks like... They kinda have one on there site but it's greyed out that to me doesn't make any sense.. If they were serious they would have posted a full walk through video about this weeks ago but between here and there twitter it's always a few days away It's like a car company saying hey our car does this and that but we ll only show u kinda what it looks like and we ll only let u pre order it with out seeing the full product

i think i remember reading any springboard app from apple wont work.... so safari, mail, phone and music will not be able to be accessed from the more apps extensions....

yes... there is only one way to expand the app turn your phone side ways or landscape and if the app supports landscape then your good to go... also i think you can go into you tv out settings and change the options dont quote me on the last option... also could you help the forum out and for mike as well and let us know how the app extensions works with your app radio 2....

yea need the pioneer app and run it in conjunction with app ext... your tv out problems do you have the parking brake mod completed?

Look at customgadz they have a module similar to the one used for the iPhone option that works even better and you don't loose bt
