  1. Have you tried reinstalling the app, or used google maps to determine that the GPS on the phone is not the issue ?
  2. Well in the case of your argument whats the point in anyone buying an app radio when they can get a touchscreen for less and do the same with a similar module. although your work is appreciated, reduced functionality is a no no, as most of us require by law to have a handsfree kit and adding an extra kit to fullfill that is pretty stupid.
  3. if you cant use the handsfree it defeats the purpose of this all together, whats the point if I cant use the bluetooth option, totally pointless, also this will invalidate your warranty on the app radio. Okay you can control the iphone from the touchscreen great but loose functionality of one of the most important parts of the unit, the handsfree bluetooth option for safe driving. Sorry but total fail, Mikes option is by far the better option as it leaves the functionality intact. If your unit is out of warranty maybe otherwise not a hope.
  4. Rev 1 - Skipping songs Rev 2 - Unstable release app corruption Whats Rev 3 - Total meltdown
  5. Are you having to uninstall the app and reinstall the app a lot, It seems to be a near daily occurence for me and is getting annoying, I have reported it to Pioneer but zero as yet
  6. I would love to see Navigon and Garmin but I doubt ever it will happen
  7. Dropped a few Dollars in there to help out will put more in once I get some more funds transfered to paypal
  8. I've noticed a bug with this now. After sometimes say a week or even a day the app fails to open and the app radio screen is black, even when trying to use the home button on the app radio it stays black. Solution, uninstall and reinstall carmediaplayer, this has so far happened to me twice on a cleany restored iphone 4s 5.1 and also an iphone 4 5.01 and 5.1
  9. Mike if you want to start a little donation via paypal to help in your efforts I am sure most people could chip in, I will give you the price of two pints of guinness here in Ireland €10
  10. Not really worth destroying your app radio then if it is in warranty, since this is then a hardware solution it is basically useless and destroys a good unit, it is fine with just a touch screen unit but not the app radio, hence fail
  11. Now this looks like the bomb... If it works I would glady pay for it aswell...
  12. I think time will tell, as far as we've been informed there is another update around the end of may, so hopefully will improve further. I personally believe that the app radio app should not have a prompt at all and mikes extensions are great but had to get my iphone 4s replaced and it came with 5.1 so no more. A signal bar, battery and time icon on all menus would help and intergration with siri. I got the survey last night so I hammered them on it, so maybe they will take heed to more people who register their units and make these comments!!
  13. Now available in the apps store, says multilanguage support but it fixes the skipping issue. Tested for an hour and no issues so far on Firmware version 2,5
  14. Yep same result here when installing appradio +
  15. Just did the update and it is a 2 part process. First the eboot part has to be done on one sd card and then the firmware (which is in 3 sub parts) has then to be done. First impressions, no major differences. Carmediaplayer is still skipping so this is most likely down to the app and not the headunit firmware
  16. At least from what you said they would bring out a firmware update this month... Not a major update as yet although
  17. Just seen it : Ver2.50 This new version contains the following improvements: 1. Bluetooth Bluetooth pairing time shortened Recent call history is synced automatically Correct contact name visible when placing outgoing call Contact name will appear when placing outgoing call and dialling sound can be heard 2. Others Incorrect clock updates fixed by dropping "RDS CT" function, bad data was received from broadcaster Pressing home button in compatible app goes to AppRadio app directly, no temporary display of home screen Fast double click on home button better recognised 3
  18. I would second this it would be nice to know how to change the back ground etc
  19. I've noticed a few bugs that affect the running of igo etc : 1.) When using the volume buttons or any buttons on a steering wheel, black lines develop on the Igo and Wince GUI 2.)As indicated before the default time and date is Jan 2009, even when changed in Control panel and the App radio settings it reverts back to this default time, eventhough it is saying it is GPS time it is not, is there anyway to adjust or resync this ? 3.) No sound from Win CE apps, as Dejan has pointed out it is a Win CE issue but any smart people out there care to take the challenge and get it working.
  20. Anyone got an english version of this yet, I assume this is the one with working sound etc ? Thanks
  21. Could someone up and english version of Dejan's patched firmware and also can anyone explain why I get the incorrect time zone and it is very hard to change the time in the control panel
  22. Okay with the demo screen issue you have to press the middle button and the volume buttons at the same time, turn off the app radio for 5 mins and turn it back on, issue is gone. With iGo there are many places to find the maps as links etc are not allowed here I would advise using google to find the correct maps for your country. Dejan thanks for the upload and help
  23. I got a copy of Navgate tried it and to be honest is a pile of rubbish the GUI is awful etc... I promptly got a refund via apple, I was lucky as they dont usually give refunds !
