  3. I just had mine installed (by my bro) yesterday, did not read the manual or anything basically just played around with my phone and the screen, i had everything set in 30 mins..... I have a blackberry 8100, originally from tmobile, but it is unlocked so I have it working for AT&T. Phone book transfer, i did it once and transferred all my contacts to the headunit.. 8100 owners having troubles, let me know, i can give you a step by step instruction.. the presets are awesome. You can either create a new number right there on the screen or you can look it up on your phone book, if you have i
  4. Hi guys, my gps antenna got broken while getting an interior detailing at the shop... it was on the dash. Anyway, I was thinking for my replacement gps antenna, I want it on a more secure area..., like on the roof of my car, where most of the cars have it. I have an IS300, was thinking of taking out the oem antenna...... does the gps antenna also support fm/am reciever? or is that separate?
  5. so there is no such thing as a switch or adapter you could buy, so you can flip two monitor's screen for D3?
  6. Hi guys, so I have a D3 and I've read before that you can't make the navigation screen appear on another output/monitor, is that true? I would like to view the map on a different monitor. If it is, is there something I could buy, like a switch to make it possible?
  7. thanks marc for the link. I will go ahead and order this.
  8. thanks guys for the information, it helped a lot. im better off getting a replacement antenna then, (and hopefully the detailing shop will reimburse me). do you guys know any good store I could buy it from? and the pioneer part number?
  9. Ok, I read more search results, and a user posted his antenna: This is from his D3, and my assumption was right, this is how mine looked like and now it has that little dent or dip!
  10. Here are some snapshots: This is what shows up on the startup. This is what my 3D Calibration looks like My status Does your antenna have that little dip on top like mine? I dont remember seeing it before, but I have a bad memory.
  11. Yes, it is. Although I've never really paid any attention to it, but it tracked the miles I've drove, how fast I was going etc... but now its stucked.. my position does not move at all.
  12. thanks for the reply. Yes, I found out after reading it in the threads that it takes a while, so I drove more than 20 miles today and it stills says initializing?
  13. This is what I am going thru right now. My gps can't even track me, the pointer says I'm in LA, but its not moving or anything! Argh! I've had my D3 installed since June of last year, and I've never had this kind of problem until yesterday, when I had interior cleaning done at a detailing shop. My antenna was sitting on the dash (center), just with a double-sided tape to hold it in place. I know you guys would probably say that I should put that metal plate thing, but it was working fine without it, my position was always accurate, I get good signal, never had to play with my position, etc
  14. Ok i just read a relevant thread suggesting to clear the 3D settings. Mine said Simple Hybrid, before I went ahead and cleared the 3D settings. Does it usually take awhile, because I'm stuck on "Sensor Initializing"? I would really appreciate any help guys.
  15. I have my gps antenna located on the dashboard (center), and I have my antenna settings right (center angle). Ever since it was installed in my car, my location (arrow) has always been accurate (never had to modify anything), until I came back from the car wash yesterday. I found my antenna dangling off the dashboard, I'm assuming it was moved because they were cleaning the inside. So I put it back to its original position, but as I was moving, my location (arrow) was way off. I went to "Modify Current Location" and it seemed like it did the job, but today it was off again. It jumps around, an
