  1. 960x640 is an iphones res looks really good as well
  2. is the backup camera setting set to on? i know it may be a redundant question but lets cover your basics after the explanation of wiring. also if it is what is the polarity set to? should be positive
  3. disable the option in the settings or check if you can reverse the polarity of the option..
  4. i use itunes videos mp4 or h264 with resolution for ipod or iphone of 960x640 any video converter can make that happen... try xilisoft
  5. why would you need to reset your your bypass? you could always install a kill switch for ignitiopn to the hu
  6. how are trying to load them? sd card? view list of files and change media on menu. from music to video etc etc
  7. make sure you have auxillary input set for video from the iphone. bypass should be fine if you can watch dvds without warnings
  8. had something similar happen on my avhp4300.. there's a rear-view button that appears along the top of the screen only when you press the source menu and if its constantly highlighted the camera will try to activate.. i wired my camera to the ignition of my truck not the remote wire out of the unit, so when my truck is on, it acts as a rear view mirror so i can see on the highway or going uphill when i activate that button. if you only want it as a back up camera you need to wire the purple wire to the positive side of the reverse lights and select polarity as positive in the settings menu.
