  2. Yes I ran all new speaker wire and an amp kit. Just dont understand why the GPS is so off now. I will try resetting it tomorrow. Where should I check for bad connections. On the Aftermarket wiring harness or out of the back of the deck. thanks
  3. Hey so Ive had my D3 installed for about 4 months now and Im just recently put in new speakers. Now my Navigation detects that Im located in Southern California area, yet Im in Washington. Any ideas on what could of happened. Would running my wires down the same side as the GPS antenna mess this up. Im just confused now because basically my Navigation doesnt work. Any help would be great. thanks
  4. Thanks necro, appreciate it. The bypass works great.
  5. Bypass worked like a charm, thanks guys. Appreciate the help.
  6. So I just plugged in the connector and reset the system. I switched the mute connector but the bypass didnt work yet. I really need to know how to ground the parking wire. I didnt install the D3, a local shop did. Wouldnt the wire already be grounded? Im confused on what to do next to get it to work. I read the entire 140+ posts on how to bypass the system. Im just new at car electronics. Can someone explain to me how exactly I would ground the parking brake wire? Thanks guys.
  7. I have a question. I had a local shop install my D3 on my stock setup. Stock speakers and wiring harness. They didnt install the RCA connector. Is that okay? The unit still functions. I realize that the RCA connector is to be used with aftermarket amps. I have one just not yet install yet. I want to do the bypass. Can I just unplugg the mute wire and do the bypass. Then connect it to the back and be set? It wouldnt be running anything to it yet? Is this normal? Someone please help.
