Just wondering what apps everyone uses? Include those iPhone apps that you are amazed with and ones you can't live without. Just want a list or feedback on some cool apps, especially those that work with the Z140.

Does anyone know of a signal booster that works with AVIC units. It would have to work or be compatible with the traffic tuner? My FM reception is terrible and I have tried everything. I'm open for any suggestion. Thanks.

You can't because of the traffic box. The antenna connects into that. And I haven't been able to find a way to program any station info. This might be a defect, I had RDS on my HU from 8 years ago, I don't get why this one doesn't work in Canada.

I'm having a tough time trying to figure out how to get any video from my iPod touch to my HU. What program/app do I need. Are there options I need to change on my iPod or on the HU. I should be able to use netflix while I have wifi service? I going to upgrade to an iPhone shortly but I would like to figure this out. I have a netflix account could someone run through the steps for me so I can see if I have everything set up correctly. The stereo is in a 2011 WRX. The iPod is a first gen. The cable is a 51V.

Thanks for that. I have played with every setting and I have switched between analog and blended with no luck. I guess it must just be that the Z140 can't get the data through an analog station. Thats mighty disappointing. Thanks for the help though.

I haven't had any luck with that either. I have stations coming in full reception and nothing. Is there a way to turn the station info on and off? Also the reception can't be the issue as I get all the traffic updates. I changed my antenna hook up and still nothing. Can someone post a screen shot of their Z140 showing the station and song info? I really don't understand why its not working, my 10 year pioneer HU had it.

How do you play netflix?

I tried without any luck. I can't get any video from my iPod to work and AVIC feeds don't work either. It doesn't make any sense that they are trying to make it all MAC compatible when the disk that comes with the HU isn't MAC compatible. Let me know if you figure it out.

Spender does your radio data work? I can't get mine to work and I'm not too sure if the HU or if its my signal strength. There is no station ID or artist info? Are you in Toronto?

I was thinking the other way around lol , like streaming audio through my phone into my 1k + car stereo. Pandora doesn't work, just wondering what other options are.

Just wondering if anyone has come across any radio that you can listen to through your cell phone. I have a blackberry but I'm hoping to make the switch. Also has anyone got pandora to work though anything in Canada? How about the RDS? Just throwing this out there for some feedback. Thanks

I can't get the RDS to work on any station. The station signal runs at about 4 bars and comes in clear. My iPod is a first gen touch. I have to unplug just the ear phone jack part and replug it. I called pioneer yesterday and the guy said he will get back to me.

So I installed my Z140 last week and I have a few questions. I live in Canada so there is no HD radio here however I can't get the RDS ( radio data system) to work. Am I doing something wrong? Also what signal booster works with the traffic controller? Another annoying thing is that every time I start the car I have to unplug and replug my iPod. It shows the song playing but there is no sound. Any help would be great.
