  1. Just fyi there was just an update to "Keyboard switcher" and it works even better than before now.
  2. I'm still seeing the GN there, I would flip if it just somehow disappeared. http://www.pioneerel...o+2+(SPH-DA100)
  3. That's one group we CAN count on.
  4. Today I called Pioneer, as all my emails are met with the same reply "Please call us in regards to your problem". I explained the exact situation going on with Jelly Bean and that all of our phones within the next coming weeks are going to be getting the update whether we like it or not. The response I got from the Pioneer rep was this " Hmmm yea it looks like we do not support this new version of Android and we have no time frame for which we will even update the Appradio 2". I told her again how many people are going to be affected or already are, and to be honest she could care less. As of
  5. Well I think we are all going to be in for a world of hurt now seeing that the Jelly bean update is now being pushed out at least to the GSM Galaxy Nexus. Which means all GN's will soon have it and unless Pioneer gets out an update quick we will have a useless APPradio 2. I ask everyone to call, email, text whatever to Pioneer to get them to wake up and push out an update before we are all screwed.
  6. Holy crap! make sure you report that in the review of the app. It sounds like they went totally backwards!
  7. There was an update to Appradio today! did you get it and try it out? Please let me know if it is working on JB I would so love to get it again!
  8. Oh and one more quick tip for an easy solution to the keyboard problem. I came across this stupidly simple app while browsing it let's you switch between one keyboard for portrait mode and one keyboard for landscape mode. And since the AP2 automatically puts your phone in landscape mode it's the perfect simple solution. https://play.google....21MYXVuY2hlciJd
  9. Oh got ya well I see that thread is talking about the Motorola Razr and a problem with ICS. I have a Galaxy Nexus and have no problems with it on ICS with the AP2.
  10. It's Jelly bean 4.1 , most people are running Ice cream sandwich (4.0) and have no issues. As for the keyboard it's because the AP2 wants you to use it's own Pioneer keyboard no other keyboard will they let you use. So you must install the Pioneer keyboard app and use it any time you want to type on the touchscreen. This app let's you tell your phone to use it automatically without you having to switch to it every time you want to use it.

  12. So your sticking with Jelly Bean for now? I switched back to ICS doing a full wipe and install and my AP2 has never worked better.
  13. Yes totally! there is so much here it can be huge for Pioneer as I put in a review for them. They could be sitting on a gold mine and can corner the market IF they put in the time and development. The ball is in their court it's up to them how much gold they see.
  14. Just fyi the email response I got from Pioneer was that the Galaxy Nexus is not supported by Appradio 2! Once I walked them by the hand to show them where it shows that it is compatible the emails stopped. So I don't know how much concern they are going to have at the moment. But again I ask any of you guys to please email them if nothing else just to get this issue noticed.
  15. So as of now I had to flash back to ICS because of AP2 not being fully functional with JB. If you need to flash back just use this method and you'll be fine. http://www.droid-lif...rom/#more-71061
  16. Just the standard one from their support section. You have to fill in your info first it's like a small form then it sends an email to them.
  17. I have gotten much further, I was able to successfully link my GN running Jelly Bean to my AP2. Several issues tho that I am seeing is that almost every other time I connect it it wan'ts to run the finger calibration. Also everything on the main screen everything works and is touchable however when I hit the apps icon everything comes up but nothing is press-able. Now Pandora on the other hand did not work until I re installed it on my GN it just kept saying can't connect until I realized I did not re-install Pandora. Bluetooth worked fine after I paired my GN to AP2 I was able to make and rec
  18. I have a Galaxy Nexus and I've noticed this too. I tend to always have WAZE open and I have to say it's hot all the time. The very few times I just had the phone connected but nothing running I never noticed it being hot, but that might be the point.
  19. Ok guys what's the easiest way to quickly swap keyboards? an app, possibly NFC sticker? any suggestions would be welcome I'm losing it having to manually switch between the two. Galaxy Nexus & Appradio 2 by the way.
  20. Yes just run the parking brake wire directly from the radio to the switch, then run a ground wire from any metal part of the car to the switch as well. For me I just ran a ground wire from a screw on the side of the radio to the switch and worked like a charm.
