  1. Connecting to Appmode is nice.. but there's so many damn wires all over my neat and tidy interior... Currently I have HDMI into the unit, plugged into the official Samsung mhl adapter, which plugs into my phone... but also have the car charger plugged into the mhl adapter... Are there alternatives to connecting to app mode on the DA100, without the need of powering an mhl adapter? What about the DA110, since it has a usb input?
  2. I'm in Canada, Futureshop just got them in yesterday I don't see anything in the settings about changing the App connection setting (I managed to find the setting, you need to change the App setting from iPhone AV to OTHER), works fine now.. One thing I noticed though, when I connected an iPhone to either DA100 or DA110, I'm able to use google maps from my phone via the deck in app mode... with the GS3, you need to install the included GPS antenna, otherwise maps says the location is temporarily unavailable.. weird
  3. Is it possible in any way shape or form, for a micro bypass to affect Bluetooth calling? My DA100 has HORRIBLE reception (Bad static, and echoing) and I'm trying to narrow down the culprit. I've exchanged the deck for a new one, same problem... I'm thinking it could be my phone (GS3), or the micro bypass... any ideas would be great, thanks!
  4. My phone is a Galaxy S3... I've had the DA100, and could connect to the app mode no problem... I just picked up the new Appradio 3, and using the same cables (HDMI cable plugged into the back of the deck --> connected to a Samsung MHL adapter --> connected to the phone)... I cant connect to app mode It connects to the new Bluetooth audio no problem, as well as Bluetooth calling... but the app mode icon has a Bluetooth logo with an "x" beside it... when I click on it, it says to make sure I have the appradio app installed (I do)... and that a Bluetooth connection is established (
  5. Anyone else have issues with your phones contacts transferring to the screen? Sometimes it works, and sometimes the contacts will load, then a split second later they all disappear forcing me to manually dial the number ... so annoying
  6. You do NOT need the over priced Android connectivity kit. I just switched over to the S3 from iPhone and let me tell you it was the best decision I ever made. With all due respect to AR Extentions, the Android version AR Liberator works FLAWLESS! 100% mirrored image of your phone onto the AppRadio with full control You need an HDMI cable, OEM Samsung MHL adapter (the one made for GS3 ONLY, no others will work!!!), and a car charger to plug into the adapter. This will connect you to Pioneers crappy app mode... To go the full 10 yards, root your S3, and download ARLiberator to tur

  8. Just installed a microbypass on sph-da100, and can confirm that it works 100% with firmware 8.17
  9. Can a micro bypass be used as an alternate solution? http://www.ebay.ca/i...=item231bc681b4
