How do i find out what firmware my SPH-DA100 is running? I know 8.17 is out, upgrade?

Just tried it and messages worked, then I went to switch to safari and it didnt work, screen stayed black, but safari was loaded on my phone. Screen on phone doesnt go black, appradio connected screen stays there, but cant escape out of it, same as black screen really. Hope that helps

Nothing worked at all, I pressed home button on phone and just bought up the keyboard and kept the appradio screen there. Will download now and try for you

Tried Beta 4, didnt let me run any apps from my phone that previously worked on beta 3, like messages, just stays a black screen on the unit. Reverted back to beta 3 and all working fine again. I got an iPhone 4, 5.0.1.

Thanks for this, cant get to that page and cant seem to get through the russian translation successfully to create an account. Are there any videos of this in use?

New guy here, attempted to read the 30 pages of mixed languages, and got a rough idea of what this does but not 100%. Is it the same firmware thats on the appradio now, just with tweaks? or completely different?

Ha, one word slip and the English man is revealed! Thank you very much for your response VBLUE42, when I get round to installing it I will report back. Everything seems to work for me, I do get the occasional black screen and some AppEx apps are a bit slow to respond and dont always scroll, but I am guessing Mike is working on this? Any idea when the next update is due? Thanks again Mike!

hey guys, bought the SPH-DA100 today, havnt installed it properly yet, but have plugged it in to play. Should I upgrade to firmware 8.17? How do I go about finding out my current firmware? Finally, the parking bypass, do you have to use a relay or can you just wire it to an earth or 12v live? Thanks
