Yes, did that the first time, and then grounded it to the car after that did not work. I'll try it again and see what happens.

I've checked it 4 times, and still nothing. I've changed my ground also so that it is actually grounded to the body, double checked my mute wire and it in all the way, then worked fine until the next morning.

Hey guys, have a 2005 malibu maxx and the avic d-3. Everything is hooked up fine as far as the bypass goes, but after a day or so everything that the bypass does, does not do anymore. Just wondering if the newer the model avic, the harder it is to bypass, or am I missing something all together? https://www.certifieddigital.com/shoppi ... ION-AVICD3

I have a 2005 malibu maxx, and the metra 95-3302 works great, but the bypass works for like a day and then starts to cut off after I hit 10 mph. Has anyone else had a prob with this in a newer model chevy? I can reset the avic d-3, but after a day or a couple of hours it all goes wrong again. Can anyone help?
