I use a Zune80 for Video and MP3 source now. Just get the zune A/V and extra USB sync cable and the Cig to USB charger you are set to go. Only problem is getting video content in the Zune. It takes a long time to convert DVD to WMV. If you get the new Zune dock you can use a remote control.

I cannot find any way to do intersection search on the D3. I think it is a pretty important function. Did Pioneer skip on that feature? All the nav I have used even from 2000 model year cars has intersection search. Weird that pioneer skip on that.

Where can I find the setting or menu to mute or attenuate audio volume for Nav guidance voice.. I dont like the mute on audio I have right now.

I'm getting some rear video interference on the headrest monitor. Is there some type of power conditioner or capacitor I can use to cut out the interference. Picture is perfect when the engine is OFF. when engine is on I get some black horizontal line jumping around quickly on screen. Avic D3 install in 2000 ML55. rear monitors are TKO 9" headrest monitors. everything works but the interference is a problem. any pointers to solve the issue is greatly appreciated.

Install the unit with self made brackets. Not very impressed with my metal strap bracket. I will probably order that ADT-VA133 install kit to see if it will works out better. Good part is that I got the metra harness and wired everything on the bench and just plug and play. everything works even the bypass. Factory Pinout is very available thru the W163 ML community.

Since AVic-D3 comes without bracket or cage what dash kit do I use to help mount the Unit to the car? Also the trim plate that came with the D3 is actually too big for the unit I need a trim piece.
