DOH! Sorry that was a total newbie thing to do. I went into Bestbuy today and tried my phone on a x940bt there and it did the same thing, and I connected my girlfriend's phone and it worked without any issues. I believe it is the phone that is the issue and not the deck. Anyone on the forums have a Motorola XT910 that works?

No I did the 3.0001 update that was in the first post. Link to the x940bt? Is it as straight forward? Side note: I tried my girlfriend's Sony Ericson which runs on Android and it worked fine without any issues. No squeeling.

I just did this update today and it worked great! Still having an issue with my phone and bluetooth hands free. It pair's fine and transfer's all the contacts. But when I make or recieve a call I get horrible screeching static. The phone is a Motorola Razr on Android any suggestions?

Hey guys, I have been lurker for many years, finally joined. I have a un-molested x920bt with the original 2.000 firmware, and I have been having an issue with the bluetooth hands free. My phone is a Motorola xt910 razr running android. I can sync to it fine and transfer my contacts (don't get me started on the muffed up contact list) but when I make or receive calls I get nothing but static and cannot hear the other person. Vehicle is a 2012 F150 with sync, but I disconnected it. Would upgrading the firmware to z110 or z140 fix this issue? Or sell my x920bt and buy a x940bt.
