Recently I've seen a lot of head units for sale on eBay and such running touch screens and android 4.1 I have also been running AppRadio plus on my device until the recent 2.64 update and I'm pretty fed up with Pioneer's lack of support for the product so what I'm wondering is would it be possible to install android on my SPH-DA01 Appradio? I know it have a MIPS processor but they have 4.1 jellybean available for the processor (http://liliputing.com/2012/08/android-4-1-jelly-bean-for-mips-processors-now-available.html). I'd like to know if there are people currently working on this or if this

Thanks for all the recent updates to the app its working perfectly on my 4S. Since I'm considering upgrading one question I have is for the iPhone 5 users; How are you connecting to the AppRadio SPH-DA01, do you use the 30pin to lightning connector or is there an iPhone 5 specific cable that goes to the head unit. Is all video and audio mirrored to the head unit? Any insight would be appreciated.

First, Mike I truly appreciate all the hard work you have put into AppEX and all for free, you're a great man. Here's my issue. I've seen it mentioned a few times but no fix for it that I've seen yet. (and yes I read the entire post from page 1 to here and its been very helpful) When I plug-in to the AppRadio (SPH-DA01 firmware 2.63) it recognizes my device (iPhone 4s 5.1.1) with the AppEX 1.9.9-11 (verified in Cydia) I try to launch the "Apps" icon on the radio and I get the option to toggle my e-brake bypass (on/off switch to ground) and hit "OK" and all i get is a blank/black screen. I need some help please. I recently updated my SPH-DA01 to the 2.63 firmware and now "Apps" and "iPod" show up blank, I downloaded the newest version of the App 1.8.2 and tried everything and it still just shows a blank/black screen when trying to use apps or ipod. I'd like to downgrade to 2.45 firmware and what ever the app version (i believe 1.7.1) that worked with it I just cant seem to find a download for the app 1.7.1 or the 2.45 firmware. Can anyone help? So right now I have the 1.8.2 AppRadio App on my iphone 4s and the most recent 2.63 firmware on my SPH-DA01 . Now I get nothing but a blank screen when I try to launch the "apps" or "ipod" section. Im considering trying to downgrade everything but I dont know where to get the old versions of the iPone App. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the old version of the apps and the old firmware for the AppRadio? I was hoping to go back to either 2.45 or 2.50 with app 1.7.1 or whatever it work with. Has anyone else had this problem?
