  1. I currently have the Z1 with Rear Camera, Bluetooth, XM all hooked and connected. If I wanted to get the Z1100BT, are the factory harnesses the same for the most part or do I have to re-wire? Also, anyone have a back side hi-res pic of the Z100BT they could post?
  2. Anyone know what that Traffic button does on the bottom right? When I press it says something about setting it to a XM Traffic channel. I have XM Radio enabled. I also have the NavTraffic Service. What is the point of this button and what does it do?
  3. Yeah, I just got that part... Thanks. What is the point of Route? Just a arrow. Also, what is different in Guide? Looks like a 2d normal map....
  4. When I am on the screen to select the Map Mode (Split View, Single View, 2D, 3D), the Guide and Route Modes are always disabled. Even when i have a route defined, it is disabled. Anyone know what these are for? I thought after the upgrade to the latest which I did lasst night would enabled these but they are still disabled... Confused...
  5. Nevermind. Found my problem. I guess Factory Restore does not set the Pairing Code back if changed. I also forgot that you can set the Pairing Code on the Registration screen. After setting it to 1234 and then pairing all worked fine....
  6. Well after searching this site and looking at the manual, I am unable to re-pair a phone which was paired before back to my AVIC.... I have a Motorola Q which was paired before. I then upgraded the Software on my Motorola and that lost the pairing. Now when I pair is says failed right after entering the 4 Digit code. The manual says 1234 but that does not work. I even tried with a different Chocolate Phone and same problem. So I did a Level 4 Reset and cleared all old registrations. TRied again, same problem. Is 1234 the standard that everyone is using to pair phones?
  7. I called that number this morning and they said that they are sold out and there is currently a waiting list to put a order in.. Sold out? What did they make like 3 or 4 copies only?
  8. No thats the problem. It does not talk about the Z1 at all. Talks about N1 and others... No reference to Z1 at all....
  9. All, with Nissan at least. You can use the factory XM radio antenna with the pioneer unit. It fits exactly. Traffic and XM works on it fine. It is under the rear Deck in the Trunk next to the Bose Amp. There is a Factory XM Tuner. Pull the Antenna Plug (Pink plug. same color as pioneer) and plug in to the Pioneer...
  10. All, those that have XM built into Nissan at least, you can reuse the factory antenna instead of running the new pioneer antenna. Works great and the plug matches perfectly... Traffic and XM working perfect with that... In the 2006 Altima, the Antenna is under the rear deck in the trunk next to the Factory Bose Amp.. Next to it is the Factory XM Box. Pull the antenna from that and use in the Pioneer. (Pink Plug, matches the pioneer color).
  11. Yep that was it. Was searching after I posted .. Found that... I wish Pioneer would have updated the instruction online to incorporate the Z1 model install instructions.. LAME... Thanks all for the help...
  12. Well, I just intalled the Pioneer XM / Nav Traffic Module into my Z1 and the radio is working fine. However, when I go to XM Status in information, the status is Disconnected and No Signal. However, I get all the stations clearly. Also, Traffic options are disabled even with Park Brake up. Whats the deal? Anyone install this on their Z1 and got it to work? Are there any settings I missed? I reset the XM / Nav Unit and my Radio and still no luck... Thanks.
  13. I already have a Factory XM Antenna in my Nissan Altima. Is it possible to splice that antenna into the Pioneer XM Antenna and use that? Has anyone done this?
