im guessing the wiring is the same as an xa, if so: you should have a third plug on the radio harness than isnt used on base model factory decks..the vss wire is on that plug and is purple/white

i would double check your wiring at the harness.. is you civic factory amplified. from my understanding some 06+ civic are. make sure too hook up the amp turn on lead
