I bought a Sprint Mogul (PPC 6800). Previously, I had another Sprint phone that connected to the D3 just fine. But I could not get the Mogul to connect to the D3. It connected as a bluetooth player, but not as a handsfree phone. I tried several times, and gave up. Then I installed the Jetware extensions on the Mogul. Now it connects just fine. I can see the signal strength and the battery on the D3. I can download the entire phonebook at once. And my ringtones on the phone plays through the D3 when the phone rings. All better than I expected. So this software also works on WM6, which the Mogu

I take it you are not enamoured with a Cavalier Thanks for the advice. I will be installing one. Assuming that goes well, a third one will be installed in a 2007 Cobalt. We have way too many damn cars.

I was considering installing a D3 in a 2005 Cavalier, but after seeing these pics I am not so sure. It looks like the dash opening has to be cut to install the D3 and that screws up the look. Did he do something he should not have done?

I have installed an AVIC D3 in a 2002 Trailblazer. I had to cut the plastic at the back of the opening to get the D3 to fit. Now I would like to install another D3 in a 2005 Cavalier. Crutchfield says that the D3 won't fit because there in not enough depth to accomodate it. The D3 is deeper than normal radios. Has anyone installed one in a 2005 Cavalier? Or any 2001 - 2005 Cavalier? If so, what did you have to do to make it fit? And what harness adapter and chassis adapter did you use?
