but I would get a much better ipod control interface correct? And then could I get a cable that converts the ipod video to rca and maintain the same ipod control functionality essentially giving me full video ipod control and use? Or am I mistaken?

I'd like to have the video ipod capabilities on my N1 and as far as I know I can do this with an N3 brain. Will it also work with an N2 brain? What would all gains would I get from either? Would an N4 brain work or help anything? Would swapping brains make my N1 have every option and capability of the brain i'm using? On another note, would an N2/3/4 faceplate work on my N1? I have a light out and the knob doesn't sit straight so if I can pick one up cheap it would be cool.
