  1. iOS 6 maps doesn't work with that feature...yet. I received this, Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. The Apple map application is not currently working. We are working with Apple to restore the application. Apple made huge changes in their map application. In the mean time, you can use other map applications, like Waze. Sincerely, Rocky Customer Service Representative
  2. ^thanks for that. I have the sph-da100, and the preprogrammed alpine bypass unit install per the drawing on the previous page. The bypass works, however there is no sound for videos in my iphone photo app. I dont have any other video file to try at te moment. I believe I read someone else had this problem, but can't seem to find if there was a solution. When I just grounded the light green wire previously, I had sound, I can't imagine what this tr7 could do to kill the sound.
  3. Thanks...I hope no one else takes your advice, 15 minutes ill never get back.
  4. My instructions for the PAC tr-7 doesn't have a #17 mod. Is that normal or was I sold an older model? Also says it came programmed in alpine video bypass which is mod #2...does this mean I can install as is? Seems some run mode 2.
  5. I'd like to know as well. I think you have to buy a "GPS" app for navigation...sucks because iOS 6 has pretty neat nav.
  6. is a jail broken iPhone and app radio 2 less buggy? random things seem to set off my head unit...also is there a way to use iOS 6 turn by turn navigation via "maps"? Or does the phone have to be jailbroken? All I want is iPod access (via iTunes match would be awesome), Pandora, and turn by turn nav using iOS 6...as I've installed my radio in a 40 year old vehicle.
