I think that button is on a "default" menu for Sirius and XM as they both seem to have the same GUI. It does work for Sirius as it will take you to the traffic channel that Sirius broadcasts. It doesn't work for XM, I don't think they broadcast traffic channels like Sirius. I just installed the XM w/ Navtraffic and was noticing the same thing.

Yes, go to the AV menu and select a source (Ipod, XM, Sirius, etc) then push the menu button above the round knob, then touch the sounds button on screen. You will see a box onscreen that says sub...touch that and it will take you to the sub input and you can turn on/off from there. It's not turning the sub itself off but it is cutting off the signal to it.

Your vehicle specific double sided harness will help with this also as they will be color coded to match the vehicle wiring as well as the h/u wiring, not all wires will be used.

D3 will let you mute the sub, but will not turn it off. Sorry, coffee hasn't kicked in yet!

No, the sub cannot be cut off by the D3, it will only change the range of frequency going to it. Do what I did and put a toggle switch on the remote line to your amps, this way you can cut them off when needed. Or you can get the Kicker SX series amp, they have a remote for adjusting all amps hooked up to it which makes it pretty easy if your amps are hiding.

Sounds like a wiring issue. You did hook the "battery" wire to a constant hot and not to the ignition hot right? Also, this forum is for the D series, not the F series.......see above?

The 2007 is out there not the 2008. If I ever get around to finding my old East disc I will make an image and place it on my ftp for you to download......much quicker and easier than torrenting. Now if someone did have an image of the East disc I'd gladly give access to members to upload/download it but I don't think anyone really wants to go out of their way here, I've posted re: my ftp and so far over 100 views but no replies. I did find the torrent and started it but after 12 hours of d/l and only at 45% I shut it down. It shouldn't take days to d/l something.

You need the harness, it should have come with one that plugs right into the back of the D3. It will have 3 sets of RCA outputs....front, rear and........you guessed it! Subwoofer. After installing, go to the sound menu and you can adjust the sub output toeither full range or sub range.

Use the software for your Blackberry and backup your contact list, then remove all contacts except the frequently used ones, then upload to the h/u, go back to your software and reinstall all contacts.

I just put the gex-p10xmt in so now I have both Sirius and XM but when switching between the 2 without adjusting the volume there is a very noticeable difference in the volume level coming out. the XM is much lower than Sirius. I tried adjusting the SLA & unfortunately it uses the same settings for both XM & Sirius. Anyone else notice this?

+1 I just switched to the Nextel/Sprint Renegade and was having the same problem.....................until I pulled my head out of my ASS and registered the new phone to #1 bank, now all is fine. BTW, the new Renegade is the Nextel version of the Razor and it's connecting just fine.

I will open my ftp server for the .iso if you're willing to upload them, would make it easier for those that don't have have them yet.

Seriously, I have just built a new ftp server w/ 16GB ram, 3x 300GB 10,000rpm raptors, dual quad cores on a 15/2 broadband connection and will do this partly in the name of burn-in and testing.

If someone wants to upload the .iso to my ftp server I will leave it on for awhile and give access to anyone wanting to d/l.

yES, i HAVE HAD THE d3/BTB since it was released and and have had the ic902 since it came out and it all works just fine, unlike the other Nextel models you can set it to auto. find and hook up to each other without going to the menu everytime you get in.
