Hopefully my unit F9310BT will be supported eventually. I am missing this standard iPhone cable (picture below), can anyone let me know if this will still be needed for the iPhone 5, or will the new cables listed above REPLACE this cable. Reason being as I don't want to pay $50 for this cable now if it's going to be redundant in 6 weeks....

Thanks, that makes sense. One of the reasons that I chose this unit as I like to mess around and hack. I'm aware of the risks, first task would be to back up, then software bypass.

Hi, I've read every post in this topic amongst various others. I can't get into Test Mode. I have a F9310BT (EU) I formatted my MicroSD card (FAT32) Downloaded TestMode.ZIP from the first post in this thread Extracted the files Copied both 'MiTACAP' & 'Testmode' folders to the root of the MicroSD card. Go to my car, insert MicroSD card turn on engine, Stereo boots up as normal, no test mode. In various instructions it says to turn the unit off and then back on, however there doesn't really seem to be a way to turn the F9310BT off (it just state's OFF but the unit is

This update brings a change which allows you to set the connection to Wired or Bluetooth, not that I can get it to work, as I have an iPhone 5
