Yessir. You can also find the "Activator" settings in your default settings app once it's installed via Cydia. iGo Primo GPS works on the iPod Touch? I didn't think the iPod Touch had GPS.

No it has no service at all. I just use apps that don't require data such as Stezza, CarMediaPlayer, Sygic, NavFree, Navigon, etc. ADDED: If you have hot spot on your main phone, you can connect via WiFi using the extra phone. I did that before using an iPod Touch on the AppRadio and MyWi on my iPhone 4s. Only reason I didn't keep the iPod Touch instead was it ran like crap with AppEx.

My iPhone 4s is running iOS 6.1.2 with AppEx and Activator installed. I have an iPhone 5s and my 4s is just hooked up to my car and tucked away used for navigation & music. I almost never have to touch my phone. I achieve this using Activator with the following settings: Activator > Connected to Power > Unlock & Launch AppRadio.app Activator > Disconnected from Power > Pause Music & Lock Phone Configured this way, as soon as my deck turns on, it starts charging the iPhone, which then Activator unlocks it and launches the AppRadio.app for me. Yepp. I guess he'd have to code in an option in the settings to enable full screen/track control/home... :-\

Well in the latest version Mike now supports the default "home" button that backs you out of supported apps, so the same way. That's why the black bars aren't really needed anymore, hence why we're trying to find out what to use them for now; full screen or track forward/backward.

I would prefer it just stretched. Or would it be possible to create "skip forward" & "skip back" buttons in the areas to each side? So when we have GPS or something running, we can still skip music using those areas on each side. It would be nice if they could actually show skip buttons that way too instead of just black bars, if that's at all possible...

I had the same problems with my iPT4 and could never resolve it, so I just gave up and sold it. Sticking to just my iPhone 4S now...

I actually agree here. Even just stretching the video or something since I know the aspect ratio doesn't match. It might then be easier to touch the correct places as well, but also will look better in my opinion.

Am I the only one that this doesn't happen to? Mine doesn't play anything automatically; I have to launch CarMediaPlayer or something and then it just usually plays the last song I was listening to...

There's a setting on the AppRadio unit itself to shut off automatic launch I think, right?

I use "Pandora Downloader" from Harrison Apps, and I definitely hate that I can't use that any way in the car. Pandora Downloader is actually legal, because it's protected as recording a radio broadcast, which Internet radio isn't currently exempt from, so is there any chance you could somehow add support for Downloader??

I could be wrong, but by the looks of it, the app uses some type of video out function. The iPhone screen appears to be showing controls and the deck is showing the visualization. If that's the case, it could be something like Hulu & Netflix where they use "Second Screen" functions, which is totally separate from ARExtensions if I'm not mistaken...

Whoever hooked your deck up didn't hook the e-brake wire up correctly or something.

Same issue here as well. If I touch the black bars to go back to the AppRadio Apps screen then relaunch the unsupported app, that sometimes fixes it, but I get the little triangles & the slightly resized screen *A LOT.*
