Please make sure you don't have anything else that might be messing up your apex, I have an iPhone 4 and although I experience what you say it not all the time and it doesn't happened with every app, apps like music and video or mail or messages work great when clicking on the black bars it loads appradio app again, when using other applications like cydia and some that are not originally supported by appradio that's when I experience the problem of taping on the black bars and appradio app doesn't launch. It's anyone with an iPhone 4S having the problem with iOS killing the appradio app after like 30 seconds of being inactive or is this a problem with iPhone 4 users only?

Same thing going on here, I thought it had something to do with my iPhone being a "4" and maybe the memory wasn't enough to run the new apps and keep the app radio running in the back so the system would kill it, but yeah it's happening consistently maybe this will get fixed quick I don't see it being a big issue, other thing that I see is every time I try to go back to the appradio screen from any application I get the "welcome Adrian Santiago' iPhone" screen that takes a little while to load the avaliavle apps I think this is the same issue of the appradio being killed while interacting with

Hey Mike I think I can't wait any more for the background situation to be fixed on IOS 6.1.2, I am selling my iPhone 4s to buy a 4 and downgrade to IOS 5.1.1 so I can get everything working on my unit, do you think i should still wait and keep my 4S, honestly I would rather keep my 4s but since the only purpose of it its to use it with appradio extensions in my car, there is no point because it doesn't work 100%. What do your recommend I do, sell it and buy the 4 or wait a little longer, how close are we to a solution????

your radio unit its mirroring the application in your phone everything its running on your phone and being displayed in your radio unit.

I don't have anything else I used to have the landscape tv out, but when installing the beta 8 cydia required me to uninstall that tweak, my appradio unit is a Pioneer AVH-X4500BT DVD receiver, that has appradio mode, all the previous betas up to beta 6 worked just fine for me, I don't know if the landscape tv out tweak left something that its conflicting with the apex beta 8 or what's going on...

More than likely the antenna on the phone...

Hi Mike and everyone else here in the forum, I've been away for a while and just updated my iphone 4s to the 6.1.2, today I was testing the Appradio extensions and I noticed something weird, the apps are full screen now and it would be perfect if they wouldn't go out of the screen check out the attached picture, is anyone else experiencing this??, is it normal now on the beta 8???

DO NOT!!! upgrade to ios 6, or else you will lose all touch input for unsupported apps, I wish my 4s was on ios 5

You should try the cydia tweak Landscape tv out...

That's how I feel as well, I didn't do much research before buying my unit if I had I would of boght appradio by it self because I do not use the cd or dvd player at all, and hat switching from regular radio to appradio mode, so I am looking into replacing my unit installed 2 months ago for an appradio 2...

If we are talking about the same stayopen cydia tweak, it looks like that one only works with the appstore, to keep it opend intead of taking you to the home screen after you hit install on an app, not the same
