We have try and it dosen´t works. Anything from now work to keep appradio.app working property in background. There are many options it would work but nothing realy work: Infinitask. Insert UibackgroundMode with Ifunbox. Insert UiApplicationExitsonSuspend <false/> with ifile. (It works for games, and others apps but dont mirror iphone images in background, but the aplication is running in background. I mean, appradio.app runs in background but stop de video mirroring. The same for UibackgroundMode Other mulitasking programs like infinityTask for backgrounding. Infinitytask + info

The same for me with beta 6. i can touch icon aplications and they runs but cant swipe pages.

I had this one in my old car http://www.oxygenaudio.com/o-line/363-o-car.html It was perfect. but not so good sound quality than Appradio without amp, etc. The screen size was not a problem. This could be???

Thanks for the information and for the effort Mike. I will post all i can find just to see if something is useful. I have read your older post and know it´s more difficult than it seems to me at firt time. Pioneer developer site dont help for pioneer API? I think the best i can do it´s to find a real alternative to Backgrounder.

First attempt FAILED I modified jp.pioneer.mbg.cargateway.carhome.plist and appinfo.dat. I tried to used Sygic like a sopported App. When connect it to appradio and open appradio.app it take 15 minutes to open. Only can see black screen. Then and sudenly appradio open, but sygic was not there. So come back to my Pc and see jp.pioneer.mbg.cargateway.carhome.plist and appinfo.dat. everithings was like at the begining and all i modified from Sygic was out, like if they were the original files. I think i will try to find the way to use Appradio in background, it would be more useful.

For the Wallpaper i think you can do 2 thinks: Open Appradio.app without connect to Appradio. Go to setting/help (sorry i´m translating from spanish) and you can see wallpapers. It´s work with 2.0.1. With Ifunbox you can see the original wallpapers and the first time run video from pioneer. For the other issues hope someone can help.

In: Appradio/Library/Cache/RecommendedApps/appinfo.dat. In this file we can see all the compatibles applications. In appradio/library/references/jp.pioneer.mbg.cargateway.carhome.plist we see the compatibles aplications that we got installed in the iphone.

It seems a good first step???? I found the place where Appradio.app declare the soported App, and in another place the icons for ssoported app. It´s seems we could try to make Appradio to think that we have download a soported app from appstore and declare in Appradio. The appradio.app using a number code for each new sopported aplicaction you have in appradio.app. So, can we try to declare an unssoported app like if it was a sopported app???? I try this but dont work for me. If you tray to exit Appradio.app when conected to Appradio and in advanced mod, images in appradio goes black. i´d tried all teaks i found about multitasking, but i do not know anything about programming. Because of What Mike said, i supoose we need to run Appradio in background, but dont know what i have to find in this teaks; For example, when configure Remove Background and put "angry birds" in the exception list, i cant go out angry birds and came back for play the same game, i need to reestar the level, so i supossed Remove Background is not a real multitasking like Backgrounder. You´ve got sphda02 firmware 2.63?? What about upgrade to 4.16?? I really dont know if 2.63 is better than 4.16 for some reasons, but 4.16 it´s ok for me with Ios6.1

I was like you. I follow your steps, but: Delete Appradio App: reboot Reinstal the beta using ifile: Reboot Reinstal Appradio 2.0.1 from Appstore and it work for me with 4S Ios 6.1 and 4.16 Appradio firm Only Unsoported App run in a smaller resolution with landscape Lock on.

It can be "Requires parking brake bypass to view unsupported apps" ? i can see unsoported app only with hand break On.

The beta for Ios6 works like Mike says but: *When i used Siri, in Appradio i can see a windows like a phone call, no the normal siri windows you can see in iphone, so when i finish i have to reestar manually appradio from iphone. *i got no Lag when scrool unsoported Apps. Mine is a 4S. *"Press on the black bars to the left or right of the app window to go back to the AppRadio app menu." it dont work. Thanks very much Mike
