my old n1 did that. just randomly one day the screen went blank. i could touch the screen and it would respond but no picture. i sent it out under the good guys service plan and they ended up sending it to pionner and they replaced the "flex cable" thats in the unit.

i believe you are supposed to reset the unit after installation in order for it to correctly calibrate.

yeah i registered mine in july and nothing. i registered my g/fs n2 last year and never got anything for updates. go pioneer, im glad theyre on top of things over there.

i use this remote for my avic-d1....mainly because it has a source button and not the individual radio and cd buttons on the bottom.
