  1. Sorry for the puncuation..... Ok yesterday we drove over 100 miles with no resetting and then today took her out on the town for lunch. There was full navi and full vid with no problem. Hopefully everything is as it seems and if so there wont be any crappy (posts) good luck guys!!!!
  2. i used catalog number 211 the first one u suggested and took one side to constant and one side to ground then the middle tested with the negative side of the dmm and brought the voltage to 2.5 into the pin. The only thing is that u have to test when the vehicle is running the batt rests at 12v and when running 14v so there is a bit of difference......seems to be working how long did it work before going into lock out mode before?
  3. no just reset with the cycle of the ignition on the initial trial of the new voltage going in and no more resets.

First u all can write the check to Jon andrews at 643 n wayne st angola In 46703 We have bypassed two Avic-Z2s all u guys have to do is listen to ducati he gives u the part numbers at radio shack and everything there are two 4.88 volt pins behind the avic that measure with dmm one is p.brake the other is in connector two bottom right if u are behind the unit. Go get a pot and hook it up to measure 2.5 volts the only thing is the potentiometer wants to move so that is going to be tough we tried hot glue and tape good luck!
