I hope someone out there has this double din unit because I have a question. On the back of this units is a USB port. I want to take a laptop harddrive and hook this up to it. From what I read the headunit shows all your different folders on the harddrive which is nice but is there anyway to shuffle all the music on your harddrive? Also does anyone know the length of the usb cord coming off the back of the unit? Thank you for any help

Hello all, i'm getting the avic d3 for my car but my buddy is possibly going to sell me an avic n1 for my girls crv. He's had it for a while and he takes really good care of his stuff. Should I have to get this upgrade disc everyone is talking about? Also if I do get this N3 disc I have to do the N3 bypass right? Please let me know these details

thats pretty cool. I have verizon too and when I get my D3 in i'll try that.

From what misfit and cntrylvr have both told me is that the vss wire may help with accuracy but is definately not necessary. I have an 06 cobalt which has no functioning vss wire. Also as your drive the d3 should start to learn the way you drive.

Hey everyone, i'm putting in Avicd3. Can't find the VSS wire. I searched forum and got to a thread that said the high oss was yellow and low oss was purple at the transmission module. Is this what I use? Thanx in advance
