Since I have the AVH-X5500BHS and it has fixed buttons for track forward and back I'm all for full screen with unsupported apps! I'd love for Navigon to run full screen. I hate Waze, but sometimes I just use it because it is big and nice looking, but Navigon in full screen would be great. Again, thanks for all of your work Mike. It's a shame Pioneer won't get with the program and take some tips from you on how they could make their product so much better.

I'm not Xa4, but I've been using Navigon for over three years and I love it. I can't say enough great things about it. It has lane assist so on the highway it shows you which lane(s) you need to be in. It also shows the speed limit for the road you are on and your current speed. The biggest problem I have with most other GPS programs is that they can't find anything I'm looking for. One of the ways you can use Navigon to find a destination is using POI\Google Local Search. Mikedecaro, have you used the app AssistantLove? It's from Cydia, not from the App Store. It extends Siri's capabilities. One of the best ways it extends Siri is that in the settings for the app you can tell it which GPS app you use (Google Maps, Wazy, TomTom, Navigon, Motion-X, Motion-X Drive, or Motion-X Drive HD) and when you ask Siri for directions it will open the directions in the navigation app you have specified. I have an iPhone 4s with appex beta 11. I have experienced the slightly resized screen with triangles a few times. It has only ever been on unsupported apps, but not all the time. I use Navigon frequently and sometimes it is slightly smaller with triangles on the sides and sometimes it is normal sized with black bars on the sides. I don't know exactly what I did to fix it, but I think it was either closing Navigon on the phone and reopening it or maybe I unplugged the phone and plugged it back in. It might have to do with whether the unsupported app was already running on the phone in the back

I've got an 8500 too with an iPhone 4S. So nice to be able to use Navigon again without it crashing after a few seconds. Beta 11 fixed that issue for me. Haven't tested everything yet, but it's not crashing now like it was. Thanks for all the work. I know it's not much, but you should find an extra $20 in your PayPal account Mike. I have the avh-x5500bhs with an iPhone 4s and am getting the crashing issue with Mike's latest beta about 20 or 30 seconds into running any unsupported app. I saw some others with this same issue. Thanks for your reply Don. I found out like you mentioned that I could start audio before I go into advanced app mode and it would continue to play audio when you go into App mode. This does not work for Pandora when you use it in "wired" mode, but your suggestion does sound like it may work using it via bluetooth, so thanks for the tip. When I go into App mode there is no Pandora icon.
