  1. No, 2.0.1-1 works just fine on 5.1.1, I'm using it at the moment, if I choose an app in the unsupported apps settings within AppExt it appears on the AppRadio .. Installing any later versions directly will fail and the Cydia version won't install either as 6.X.X is an requirement....
  2. Bluetooth with phone works just fine even though iPod is plugged in.. I have no idea if you Can stream the Music from the phone, i only use the iPod for mp3s the actvator app is a seperate menupoint in the setup menu after the redsn0w jailbreak
  3. I'm using a iPod touch 4th gen with IOS 5.1.1, using appradio version 1.8.2 and app extension 2.0.1-1. It (the iPod) is permanently attached and mounted in the glove compartment, I use it for iGo Primo sat nav, Dash command (OBD II WiFi dongle is plugged into the car diagnostics system) and XBMC for both music and movies and of course to store mp3's I want to hear in the car...I've set the Activator app to unlock the iPod and start AppRadio whenever power is recieved and to lock the iPod when power is lost, to conserve battery power (To match iPod functionality to the cars ignition/ignition of
  4. Well I don't use Rdio so I haven't experienced that particular issue ... I too use an iPod permanently attached, left in the glovecompartment. I use Activator to ensure the AppRadio app is started as soon as power is connected and device locks when power is no longer recieved to ensure there's battery left next morning, that way I never have to interact with the iPod directly.. Maybe you could work some magic with Activator?
  5. Nope, S.A.M seems to have, however you asked if it's possible to jailbreak 6.1.3, I answered 'Yes - however it must be a semi untethered or tethered solution as that is the only solution for 6.1.3 at this time' Was in here to ask my question above, regarding slow screen refresh/touch input on a 5.1.1 iPod 4 with 2.0.1-1 AppExt and 1.8.2 AppRadio app, just thought I would answer your question .... But as I stated above, i do not want a tethered or semi-untethered jailbreak thus I haven't updated to 6.1.3 on any of my idevices...
  6. Well yes and no ... According to sources on the web a completely untethered jailbreak is not possible, you need your idevice connected with Redsn0w running to get it to boot every time the idevice has been shutdown, meanwhile though for all intends and purposes it should act as if jailbroken ... Just not very smart if you reboot your phone in the car and can't get into IOS because you need a computer with Redsn0w.,... I haven't tried this semi untethered jailbreak though so trying redsn0w on a 6.1.3 is on your entirely own risk I wouldn't try it myself, sticking with 5.1.1.
  7. Hi, I've seen videos of angry birds etc running smooth with AppRadio control however I'm using appradio v.1.8.2 with appradio extensions 2.0.1-1 on IOS 5.1.1 on a 4G iPod/AppRadio 1 and whilst typing an address in navigon is bearable although slowish, angry birds or anything needing 'fast' response graphics wise or touchscreen to be somewhat responsive, is unusable/laggy... The ordinary supported apps runs just fine.. Is it the 'old' AppRadio causing it or do I have some version conflicting or what? I've also made sure there's nothing else running in the background except of course for the App
  8. I believe there's a Redsn0w semi untethered jailbreak for 6.1.3 .. But if you shutdown the device it needs to be connected to a computer to boot again.
  9. Nice, installed a new AppRadio (Euro version), clipped the parking brake wire to the harness ground wire, worked perfect, thanks for confirming
  10. If the euro version works just grounding the parking brake sensor wire, couldn't US users just flash with euro firmware and ground the wire?
  11. Happy to help ... It really took a lot of time and experimenting with versions to figure it out, just thought I'd help out people not having to read the massive aomut of posts, find out which version to download and from where And yes, thanks Mike for putting some effort into App Extension
  12. But then you might as well buy a carcomputer and install win8 then?
  13. Ah sorry, i thought you meant on the appradio itself instead og wince sure if someone creates cables able to connect the phone to the appradio or some win8 phones has the same connectors as the supported android ones, i suppose it should be possible to write software enabling the win8 phone... Still find it unlikely though ... Maybe Pioneer adds support for win8 in the next gen appradio
