  1. Re: #3, the Home button option from the AR2 doesn't work. Neither does trying to navigate to Spotify directly from the iPod while it's still plugged in. The only way I've been able to get it to start Spotify is by first unplugging the iPod, loading Spotify on it, then plugging it back in. As I mentioned above, however, sometimes this isn't necessary, and it's usually when it's only been a few hours since I was last in the car. If the iPod sits overnight, for example, Spotify never loads back up through the AR2. I've got to unplug it and do it directly. I've also noticed that the touch
  2. 1. The app menu. I'm pretty sure every time this has happened selecting Spotify from the "music control icon" in the right corner isn't an option because it just shows the iPod icon as the default music player in that spot. Now that I think about it, it probably happens most often in the morning when I'm leaving for work. Not sure if that has anything to do with the iPod "resetting" itself or going into some sort of "sleep" mode overnight due to inactivity. It doesn't seem to happen as often when I get back in the car to go to lunch (typically 3-4 hours after I would have last used it on
  3. I have an iPod Touch 4G that I bought to be a dedicated device with my AR2. It's running iOS 6.1.3 with a tethered Redsn0w jailbreak. One of my primary uses for the iPod (and AR Extensions) is playing Spotify playlists offline. Many times, I jump in the car, get through Pioneer's warning screens and everything works fine. Other times, however, when I get through the screens and try to select Spotify on the AR2 it will open Spotify, but gives me nothing but a white screen. Spotify just won't load/open. If I unplug the iPod, start Spotify from the device, and then plug it back in, the AR2
  4. Works just fine for me. I'm also trying to add tethering capabilities with MyWi from my iPhone 4S to the iPod, mainly for streaming Spotify radio and online playlists. Not sure whether the Bluetooth option or WiFi hotspot will be better. Bluetooth uses less battery, but I think automatic pairing/tethering may be easier with the WiFi hotspot option. One tip I learned from vic256, install Activator from Cydia and have the iPod unlock whenever it receives power and then lock when power is cut. That way, you can leave the iPod in the car and won't be running its battery down any more than
  5. If you don't want to worry about plugging your phone in, I think your best bet is to buy an iPod Touch 4G (running iOS 5), jailbreak it and your phone, make sure all the apps you'd use on your phone are on the iPod, install AR Extensions and MyWi, then tether the iPod to your phone. I'm going to be trying out this set up myself soon, but I think it would allow you to keep the iPod in a center console, glove box, etc. and have full touch capabilities for your desired apps while not having to worry about plugging your phone in. The only part I'm not sure of is how smoothly or quickly the tethe
  6. That sounds like a great setup. I make lots of fairly short trips (10-15 minutes maybe), and this is definitely a first world problem, but I'd prefer to not have to plug my phone in every time I get in the car just to listen to a few songs. Is there any problem with making and receiving calls through BT with your setup? In other words, does the AppRadio still recognize and pair with your phone just for that purpose, or does it cause any problems or conflicts with the iPod that is actually plugged in? Can you tether the iPod to your phone in case you want to stream music instead of listenin
